Default Spooky Day?
Hey I just played through my first fall season, and I thought sims could go to houses and like trick or treat or something? Maybe a mod is conflicting and won't let me... but before start ripping out my mods.. I just wanted to know if this is even possible.. or if I was dreaming this up?

thanks

Only kids and teenagers can go trick or treating, and it can be done only on Spooky Day evening. So, try selecting a child or teen, then try to click on a front door of some house in your neighborhood, where I'd assume there could be an option to trick or treat. I haven't tried that myself yet, but kids and teens did show up at my sim's door.

Well my kids got the option to change into a costume the day before spooky day. And on spooky day it said it was the "last day to trick or treat". So that makes me think that they can go before spooky day. I also got the option to trick or treat on spooky day morning, although it seemed like the whole town wasn't home so the kids only went to three houses. o.O One of my kids also got a Evil Mr Gnome, I'm not entirely sure why though. :o

Trick or treating is the day before and Spooky Day.

Mine trick-or-treated on the last evening and not one person was home. Unsurprisingly, because they live in a very small custom world which may not even be populated at this point.

So far, I've only played adults, but none of the children in Sunset Valley or Riverview have come to my houses to trick or treat.

I am an Angel who has tamed the Dragon. For I am NOT crunchy, NOR good with ketchup!
