Default My Sims Can't Go Trick or Treating
Is anyone aware of any mods that could conflict with Trick or Treating or getting children to put on the "Spooky Day" costumes? I've been having problems getting the "change into costume" option to appear; and when it does appear it often gets dropped immediately when I select it and then the option disappears. The "trick or treat" options get dropped every time I select them and don't even appear most of the time. If I yank all of my mods out, it works without any problems, but if I have even one merged mod package I start having problems. I've also tried using the "reset everything" option in Twallen's Mastercontroller.

I have most of Twallen's mods as well as a number of mods from Buzzler, Consort, Mahamudo, and Shimrod. I'd be more specific but I have more than 300 different mods that are merged together into four packages. I also use CC Magic. Basically, I'm just hoping that someone can tell me which kind of mods could be the culprit and help me narrow it down a little. Any help would be appreciated.

EDIT: I was finally able to send my sims trick or treating after sending them to a house and then clicking on the trick or treat option. Apparently, they have no interest in trick or treating if you just click on a house on the other side of town. I'm still having trouble getting the options to appear, though.

There is no way for anyone to know, much less tell you, which mods are the issue. You'll have to try them and find out. In order for that to work, you would need the unmerged versions and split them into two groups. test each group to see when the issue appears. When you have the problem group, keep splitting it into half and testing to narrow it down to the problem mod.

There's a faq here on finding problematic CC: http://simswiki.info/wiki.php?title..._Custom_Content

Thanks for the help, but at this point I don't think it's any one mod in particular. I think it's just simply the number of mods I have along with TS3's unstable design. I imagine if it actually was a mod the interactions wouldn't work at all instead of just some of the time. The "trick or treat" interaction works; it's just a little hit or miss. I'll just have to work around it unless I can find a way to boost performance that I haven't already tried.

It could still be an out of date mod or a mod conflict. They can have some really odd effects.
