Sims 3
Default Sliders NOT working
Hello,
Certain sliders in my game have suddenly stopped working. The sliders still show up in-game, but moving them has no effect on my sims. The sliders that aren't working are NOT custom sliders, but I do have custom sliders installed.

Note that I do not have Awesomemod or anything that would increase the number of sliders.

I have hat sliders, hip, waist, and butt sliders. I also have a head shape slider, height slider, Chin-to-neck slider, overlip curve slider, and I think that's it, but I could be wrong.

The problem sliders are in the head category with most of them being chin or jaw sliders. The Nasialobial (sp?) crease slider doesn't work either. The same goes for cheekbone slider, cheek jowls, and things like that.

It's really hindering my CAS creation, and it would be fabulous if anyone could explain to me what's wrong and offer a solution.

Thanks!

That is probably just what you need.

Indeed. You need a mod to increase the number of available sliders, otherwise some EA sliders will stop working when you install new custom sliders. I recommend twallan's MasterController mod.

What I lack in decorum, I make up for with an absence of tact.

Okay, how do I go about safely using it? I've always been worried about using Awesomemod because it IS a core mod. Is there a way to use it ONLY to increase my number of sliders?

No - many of AwesomeMod's features can be turned on and off through the config option, but not all of its features are there. That's why I suggested MasterController, which is much less intrusive. You could also use CmarNYC's XCAS mod.
