fewer credits mod to get a degree?
University life is awesome but the only thing that bugs me is 48 credits seems so long! im still on 18 credits and it feels like i've been playing all day just fast forwarding. is there any mod/cheat to lower the credits to finally graduate with a degree so i can finally start working on my sim getting married and having children??

You can buy an honorary degree with 50,000 LTR points. It is supposed to give you the same job boost as the degree in the area you receive it. So just cheat yourself the LTR points, get the degree, and move on.

Isn't it technically possible to get the 48 in one therm? If you started out with a fresh sim this could be a problem but if your sim has enough skills before enrolling in uni this can be accomplished. If you're willing to cheat you could ofc give your sim enough skill points in enough skills to earn more credits. Also make sure to choose the right traits for the respective major.

The maximum number of credits your sim can get from the test is 18. That leaves 30 credits needed to graduate. I believe the maximum number of credits a sim can get in the 2 week (2 term?) stay is 24. So you will need at least one more trip back to get the last 6 credits to graduate, which could be done in a 1 week term.

Really, the time went by so fast, that before I knew it Friday rolled around. Saturday was party day, and then that evening it was time to go home. I had fun and can't wait to go back with my established sims, just was waiting for my mods to get updated. For me, it goes by too fast.

I too got bored. I signed my sim up for 2 terms, and by the end she was 6 credits away from graduating, so I had to send her back for another one. Was really annoying. I think one term is all I can stand, so I'll be buying honorary degrees until I can find a mod to make it so I only have to spend 1 term in college. I don't see why a sim should have to spend the equivalent of an entire adult age-span to get a degree. It would be one thing if you didn't have to travel to another area.

That's the biggest turn off about Uni for me. I'm not so enamored of the college experience that I want the bulk of my Sims' lives to be spent there. I'll probably be going the route of honorary degrees as well, just to get it over with.

nice, ill be trying this out for sure. really hate how it takes 2 weeks to get it done, AND then having to return again.

A reminder, aging is off during their stay, so while it might seem to you like it takes the time of their lifespan, to them it's not even a day.

Yes, I know. I just don't want to play in Uni that for that long of time.

Then go for the LTR degree. Or, just to have a taste of Uni, send them or a single 1 or 2 week term with a low course load, let them enjoy the town, then have them "complete" the degree with the LTR.

With a full course load, they can earn 36 credits in the 2-week term. So it's possible for someone who has the 18 credits from the aptitude test to get the degree at one sitting (they'll be 6 credits over, so maybe do an 18 credit then go home, then return for 12). The full course load is hell on the sim, though. No time to do much of anything else.

I was planning on doing just that. But the more I think about it, I can just take one week term for the experience of Uni and then not bother even with the LTR degree so I don't get the unwanted 'benefit' of careers being easier than they already are.
