I ran into a problem while playing my game tonight, and sadly none of the help files had any answers. One of my Sims had a opportunity to deliver a painting to China, which she had to put on hold until she gave birth. She also has a lifetime wish that requires travelling (World-Class Gallery). However, when I tried to send her to Shang Simla, the loading bar almost entirely fills up, then it stops when it gets to a certain point with just a sliver of grey left, as seen in this picture:



I let the game sit and do this for about ten minutes, and nothing progressed, though the game's music still played and the Game Tip kept changing. I tried this three different times with various fixes, and the same thing happened. It first happened when I tried to send my Sim and her partner (who is from China - Zhan Su) for five days, then again when I tried to send my Sim alone for three days. I deleted the cache files to see if that would help, but nothing. I don't have any CC other than some mods - Twallan's StoryProgression, Master Controller, and Overwatch, and another mod that prevents mystery genetics from popping up (it's from somewhere on this site). I used all of these mods in the vacation destinations before with no problems, but I pulled Overwatch, the one I most recently installed, to make sure it wasn't conflicting with anything. I recently installed Late Night, and this is the first time I've tried to travel with the new EP installed.

So, after all this, my main question...how can I fix this? Is this being caused by Late Night? Is this being caused by a corrupted vacation world? Has this happened to anyone else before?

Any answers and help would be greatly appreciated.

  Try that first - every step, in order, and don't skip anything! Even if it doesn't say your specific problem, try it anyway, as it's a good starting point to rule out the most common causes of game issues.
