Default Expansion Pack Legacy Challenge
I came up with this, my first challenge, when thinking about the progression servers on the original EverQuest. It's the same deal, only with TS3 and its EPs and SPs. Completing tasks in each EP unlocks the next (and the corresponding SPs).

You'll need:
AnyGameStarter3
All expansion packs through University Life (If you don't have a given EP, skip its generation.)

Setup: Use AnyGameStarter3 to create a new game with the base game only. Create your YA sim (any traits, aging on Normal) and move him/her into any lot you want in Sunset Valley.

GOALS:
Generation 1 (Base Game): Your goal for the base game is simple enough: max a career of your choice. Once you get that done, you can add World Adventures to your game.

Generation 2 (World Adventures): The heir for this generation has to get three level 3 Visas in order to unlock Ambitions and (if you have it) High-End Loft Stuff. Completing all the tombs is a bonus!

Generation 3 (Ambitions): Generation 3 has to max a profession to unlock Late Night and (if you have it) Fast Lane Stuff.

Generation 4 (Late Night): I was going to say that 5-star celebrity was required, but I won't. Instead, just max either Film career. If you get 5-star celebrity, that's a bonus! This unlocks Generations and (if you have it) Outdoor Living Stuff.

Generation 5 (Generations): Either max Daycare or make an Imaginary Friend real. Doing both is a bonus! This unlocks Pets and (if you have it) Town Life Stuff.

Generation 6 (Pets): Max the Equestrian career to unlock Showtime and Master Suite Stuff. Keep a dog and a cat at all times during this generation for a bonus!

Generation 7 (Showtime): Max any of the Showtime careers to unlock Supernatural and the Katy Perry and Diesel stuff packs, if you have them.

Generation 8 (Supernatural): All you have to do to unlock Seasons is bring in generation 9. However, the generation 9 heir must be a witch, fairy, werewolf, or vampire.

Generation 9 (Seasons): You're almost there! The generation 9 heir must attend all four festivals with the generation 10 heir. That unlocks University Life, as well as the final Stuff Pack.

Generation 10 (University Life): Max any of the three new careers to unlock Island Paradise.

Generation 11 (Island Paradise): Find all of the hidden islands to win the challenge!

SCORING:
10 points for each EP/SP unlocked, even if you don't own it
25 points for each bonus

This sounds pretty fun to play while i'm re-instaling all of my sims 3 packs on my new computer. But what if we dont have one of the expansions?

It's says at the top to skip a generation if you don't have it.
And this looks great

If you're missing an EP, skip that expansion's generation, add the EP's score to the precious generation, and add the associated SP or SPs (both unlock and score) to the next generation. If you're missing an SP, just ignore it. You can still score for unlocking the EP or SP you don't have, however.

EXAMPLE: Let's say I don't have World Adventures. In that case, I would skip generation 2 and add High-End Loft Stuff to generation 3. Clearing generation 1 would allow me to score for the base game and World Adventures, and clearing generation 3 would allow me to score for Ambitions and both the High-End Loft Stuff and Fast Lane Stuff packs.

I am definitely going to try this one. It seems like a great way to make sure I've properly experienced the eps before Sims 4 comes out!

I'm hoping I don't get in trouble for necroing this, but oh well. So pretty much I haven't touched the Sims in forever because I get soooo bored outside of decorating and CAS. I was browsing through the challenges and I found this. I'm giving this one a shot. With Twallan's mods installed I think it'll be fun to move each new generation to the applicable neighborhood that goes with the EP and find the least horrid townie to use for making the heir. Then I can have a big, evil and almighty family tree!!! Awesome idea!

I think think this is a good idea but would be cool if you have to max out the skills that come along with it too.

This is totally something I would like to do! I'm going to add it into what I'm doing with my story right now. I'm starting with one teen and doing a altered version of the runaway teen challenge (I made it to where she was kicked out and is trying to make a better life for herself by getting into university blah blah blah) then doing the 100 baby challenge with her once she graduates so for generation 3 I will start with the base game for this.

This sounds like fun. I'm excited to get started now :D
