I know this area of MTS is meant for TS3 gameplay discussion but I could not find a proper forum in the general discussion area and since Quxxn has been making TS3 LPs since day one, I thought it fitting to put here.

It has been confirmed that Quxxn passed away yesterday afternoon due to complications from surgery. She had been ill for quite some time w/ lung problems and had been hospitalized numerous times. Her most recent surgery appeared to have gone well at first, but then she worsened and was forced to go under again and, unfortunately, the medical team could not save her. Her Twitter account has already been shut down, and her YouTube and Facebook pages, etc., will be sure to follow soon.

I know not all of you were fond of TheQuxxn. I personally enjoyed her bubbly attitude, even if I didn't agree with her excitement. Even so, let us all take a moment of silence to honor the passing of a fellow Simmer and say a prayer for her friends and family that they will remain strong despite their grief.

I've heard that her friends and family are leaving her YouTube account open so people can continue to watch her videos

I stated this in the other thread where it was announced, I wanted to send my condolences to her family and friends. Right now their hearts are hurting and they will miss her a lot, may peace come from whatever form of worship they practice. So sorry that this happened to Quxxn.

That is indeed sad news. She was so young. My condolences to her friends and family, should they ever see this.

i find it so sad and horrible that such a young person unexpectedly passed away.. and it's only a few days after 13-year-old talia, a beauty guru on youtube, also passed away with cancer RIP both young girls!

I haven´t seen her videos, or knew her personally, but my deepest sympathy to all who knew her personally, her family and everyone who enjoyed her videos.

Yeah, they said before they deleted her Twitter that her Youtube page would stay intact. I'm not certain about the FB, but they said they wanted to leave her YT page up because of how much it meant to people.

It's really tragic and sad. She was def one of my favorite LPers and not only that, she was robbed of her dreams and her future. It's a shame. The simming world won't be the same and I hope her family can find peace and closure.

Can someone give a biography of her? Describing what she was, why was she so popular?

There's not a lot to say? She didn't give out personal info about herself other than vague family details, she was 26 and lived in Chicago, had a boyfriend, etc. Never shared a picture or gave her real name and the closest we got to 'seeing' what she looked like was when she made herself in Create-A-Sim. She didn't think any of that stuff was important because she wanted to be able to 100% be herself in her LPs. She made them for about 2-3 years at least and you really saw her grow and change as a player.

Personally, I love her LPs because she was always in a good mood, upbeat, peppy, and cheerful. Some people may have found it annoying, but I loved seeing a vid going up and knowing she'd be a little ray of sunshine. She would shill for EA quite a bit sometimes, but she DID give negative reviews on store items -- just sandwiched between a lot of love for them as well. And I think a lot of people liked that about her and the fact she threw fun drama into her LPs (having a guy have nine kids with different women, including an alien baby, in her Seasons one is what made me really like her). She was just a really fun person through her LPs so I can't imagine how cool she would have been to hang out with IRL.

I am glad you started this thread instead of me, i cant even wc=tched one of her videos without tearing up, also i dont mean to be mean but Quxxn Passed away of the 20th the news of her passing was anouced yesterday, sorry if you said that but i didnt see it, anyways 7/22/13 today is Quxxn day... Today you go to her YouTube Page and watch some videos, make a video for her, or since this is Mod The Sims make Some clothing for her or something... But all in all Quxxn will be missed, i have been with her since she first started showtime... Please Do something for Quxxn Today is her day... I'm deeply sorry to hear about this.I've seen some of her videos before. She was too young to pass away. She was indeed a very happy person. Quxxn will be missed greatly, RIP.

Can't say I was that big a fan of her but she was the first Sims Let's Player I subscribed to and, as a simmer, I can't help but feel sad for a fallen comrade.

Saw the mention of her passing over on SimsVIP and was very saddened by it. She was a very upbeat young lady and certainly had a lot of fun with her LPs. My condolences to her friends and family, may they be comforted in their hour of great sorrow.

I am very sorry to hear about her passing. She was a very entertaining livesimmer and seemed like a really happy person. She will definitely be missed.

Wow, so sad. I'd never heard of her before, but checked out one of her vids just to get an idea of who she was. She sounded so upbeat, cheerful, and excited about the Island Paradise EP, just a mere 3-weeks ago. She was so young and should have had a whole life ahead of her. It really breaks my heart.

Like lil_bag, I wasn't a big fan, but she was excellent at what she did, and I probably would have skipped Supernatural if not for her LP. And you can really do nothing but respect someone who had in the vicinity of 175K subscribers (if not more...she had a couple of channels, as I recall) to a YouTube channel mostly devoted to Sims LPing. Reaching that many people is just phenomenal. I'm truly sorry for her family, to have lost such a vibrant young woman.

I am also very saddened by the death of Quxxn as well, just like others here, I kind of lost touch with her LP's after a while.

But, aside I do not appreciate that iPodZeke is sitting here eating off of her death. And for that very reason is why I am trying to get the Sims community to realize this, and spread the truth. What he did was so pathetic, and cold-hearted. It would help if you guys could call him out as well, a person with such intentions deserves nothing in memory of woman like Quxxn.

Her life was shortlived and she sure as hell wouldn't appreciate this, if she could see what was happening...RIP Quxxn, you will always be the best.

fighting over the internet never brings any good, just ignore him.. it's better to just leave him and quxxn's family be and have them mourn instead of starting arguments.

i don't think his video was very nice either but you really won't get anything out of calling him out.

I started watching Quxxn halfway through her Supernatural LP. I would watch those videos while waiting to get the game myself, the same with University and Island Paradise. She was always so upbeat, happy and excited... she put me in a better mood with every video.

Well I don't know if you saw the video or not, but he deleted it now. What had happened was:
Zeke somehow got access to Quxxn's twitter without approval of any family member, etc...He was pretending to be a best friend and giving out false stupid updates, and then said he was taking over the account to start doing updates. These "updates" were so unrealistic, and obviously he had no idea what was going on in the hospital. Quxxn's cousin eventually took twitter and called him out on it, and took back control of her account...

Then he uploaded a video, the video, that he shamelessly promoted his-self after saying "let's all move on to happier times, it's the past now" and then he did his promotion of "there's others to watch, such as me, iPodZeke" and listed a bunch of other randoms. Then in the description he listed himself as the first to watch, and then smaller lp's, and then not even linking to Chrill, Curtis or James as the last people to go and watch.

And this entire time while this is all going on, he is denying it, and avoiding everything questioning Quxxn, only retweeting people defending him and some #QuxxnDay stuff or #RipQuxxn. And I guess the amount of call outs has made him delete the video, and even Quxxn's cousin has now called him out again, after I tweeted the video of sims3loser calling him out to her.
