I have something that I assume is a bug, but I have no idea what the problem is because I have Googled it like crazy and even searched throughout this site and have found no answers or even someone who has had this problem.

My issue is that my sim starts blogging with no problems whatsoever. She gets her little "gotta blog" prompts every time she does something blog worthy for the type of blog she is doing and then all the sudden after a few days, the prompts stop coming. When I switch blog types the prompts come again, but then after a few sim days, they stop even though she does things that should definitely trigger a "gotta blog" prompt.

Anyone know what my issue is or have experienced it themselves? Anyone have a solution?

Every time you load a saved game, you need to blog at least once before the moodlet is triggered again. For example, if you have a personal life blog, and just loaded your game, the "Gotta Blog about Having a New Friend" moodlet from having a new friend will not be triggered if you don't make a blog post beforehand. So always make a post as the first thing you do every time you load your game so you won't miss those precious opportunities.

... and be prepared to lose a few followers because of the missing moodlet.

This worked for me for a while, but doesn't seem to anymore. I've made a blog post and read a book for my reviewer blog, yet no moodlet shows up.

EDIT: Derp, it appears that my blog's theme had somehow changed from reviewer to personal. Seems like yet another bug, pretty sure I would remember if I'd changed it myself, and I lost over 300 followers changing it back.
