This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3, World Adventures, Ambitions, Late Night, Generations, Pets, Showtime, Supernatural, Seasons, University Life, Island Paradise, Into the Future
Default Awesome Mod Installation and Missing Mods
So, today I tried to install awesomemod. I read a few tutorials over it, but every time I tried, I typed in showconfig, and nothing happened. I had the resource.cfg in my mods folder, and an awesomeconfig file in mods/packages, but that wasn't working, so I just popped a regular awesome.package in there. After I did that, I started up my game and my mod that skips the intro had stopped working. I don't even remember what that one was called, so I don't know what to look for in tracking it down. When I entered my game, it told me that some of my CC was missing and that it had replaced what was gone. After that happened I just went and deleted everything related to awesomemod, but my old .package files still aren't working. I feel like I may have accidentally deleted something essential to get my .packages working. I know I'm being vague, it'll probably be hard to sort through this. Maybe if someone could send me screenshots of their documents/The Sims 3 folder (and if you have awesomemod installed, sreenshots of that, too) to make sure I have everything?
Edit: Aaaaaand now it's not letting me update because it's 'unable to connect to Origin'

First: If Awesome Mod was ever active in your game, simply deleting it is likely to break your game unless you use the uninstall command in game before you remove it, or unless you were very lucky and hadn't used most of its options anyway. As you had never gotten it working in the first place, this is not an issue, but it's something to remember if you do get it working, and then decide you don't want it anymore.

Mods goes in Documents\Electronic Arts\ The Sims 3
Resource.cfg, Packages folder and Overrides folder go in Mods
Actual files go in Packages or a subfolder. Awesome Mod goes there, too. (And the Awesome Config, if used. ) I stopped using Awesome Mod when my internet connection got too unreliable to keep up with the constant need to update it, so I can't show it to you, but there is no difference between where it goes and where everything else goes. (http://modthesims.info/wiki.php?tit...g_Package_Files should explain everything you need to know, and even has a new copy of the Framework that you can download.)

Where did you get your resource.cfg file, and what does it say?
