Default How do you publish a book?
My sim just finished writing her first book. When I click on the bookcase, the book is listed and it says to publish click on the mailbox. I click on the mailbox and absolutely no options come up, just says I have not received any new mail. Is this a glitch or am I missing something?

After your Sim writes a book, the book should be in his inventory. If it's in your Sim's inventory, when you click on the mailbox, there is an option to "self publish" the book. As you gain writing skill, a couple of other options will show up. Is it possible that your Sim put the book on a table someplace or in the bookcase? Or was it accidentally deleted? If you can't find it, don't stress about it because the first book usually doesn't fetch much in royalties (mine was about $7 to $8 daily for the first book). Just try another book and click on the mailbox as soon as your Sim is finished.

I thought books need to be in your inventory before the interaction shows up on mailbox?

Thanks, I found it on the nightstand. It is now being published. Wish real life was that easy. LOL

Now has anyone a way to buy back the published books yet?

Check out The Moore Legacy, a Sims4 legacy blog.

I think you can buy them back via the computer. At least I hope so.

I'm supporting the Optimist Camp for the Sims 4.
