USB drive and Sims 4?
Been playing TS2 a lot lately and have a lot of CC downloaded. I'd like to get my TS4 game installed as well but I'd hate to run out of space oneday because of all the CC downloads I do.

I've been thinking about having my TS4 game installed on a usb drive. But I have no experience with games and usb drives.

Would you recommend to install and play the game through a usb drive?

A user have found a solution for place the mods folder in another drive.

About your question, you can install and play the game through a usb drive but the folders for mods, saves, etc..
are always created by default on the C drive in "MyDocuments"

You can change the location of My Documents to a removable drive: http://www.ricksdailytips.com/move-...sb-flash-drive/

I just tested this method by following the step by step directions and then launching TS4. It automatically created its directories on my flash drive, I:.

Please note that a different method (going through documents/properties directly -- a subtle distinction) does NOT allow you to use a removable drive.

Don't forget that USB is significantly slower than traditional hard drive. Especially if you're using USB 2.0 drives.
