This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default ultimate collection: missing most of happy holiday stuff (fixed)
I've recently installed the ultimate collection and when looking through the clothes in create a sim I noticed that all the outfits from happy holiday stuff except for the adult male and female Santa suits are missing, and not just from create a sim but form the whole game as I had a group of sims travel to Takemizu Village where they bought the kimonos from holiday stuff and when i loaded up the hotel after installing the UC their clothes where stuff from the base game.

is there any way get the missing stuff back, I've already tried using the repair game function of origin and it didn't work. I have the disk for happy holiday and tried to install it onto the ultimate collection and the installer said it's already installed witch was true before I uninstalled the disk based version, but now i don't have any idea what to do.

just to be clear i did uninstall the game before installing the ultimate collection.

Someone else had a similar problem with this recently - gazania, I think. Ah yes, here:

It would appear that HH installations are unstable. She didn't find a solution to her particular problem but there are some suggestions in that thread.

I no longer come over to MTS very often but if you would like to ask me a question then you can find me on tumblr or my own site tflc. TFLC has an archive of all my CC downloads.
I'm here on tumblr and my site, tflc

thanks
though the group of sims in takemuzu village where made and on vacation before I installed the UC, it just took me a while to notice before as I was specifically looking for the stuff before I noticed it was gone, so it I'm not sure how well combining Origin and and cd based installation will be

This would be a good question for EA to answer and you should turn in a support ticket on it. They may even fix it for all of us.

I fixed it by removing the files H05.bundle and H06.bundle form the base game version of TSdata/Res/Catalog/Bins then installing Happy holiday stuff from a disk.

I wouldn't have fixed it without the thread maxon linked to, so thanks maxon

and as a warning IT NEEDS A DISK TO WORK, without one you will lose any happy holiday content you have.

it MIGHT work if you remove the files then use repair game on origin after removing the files but it's probably won't work, though could be worth a try just make sure to NOT delete any files until after you've fixed the problem, just put them somewhere else

Edit: Wow my 14 year old self was intense with the caps
