Default Compressorizer for TS4?
Hello, Mod the Sims. My name is Admiranda, and I have a problem: I hoard CC, especially recolours. Currently, I have 95.7 gigabytes of CC for TS4!

But, while admitting you have a problem is the first step, I'm unwilling to do any of the remaining steps. Nevertheless, my hard drive's getting a little cramped for space, so I was wondering if a Compressorizer program like those made TS2 and TS3 could be found anywhere, or if anyone's thought of making one?

I appreciate you dedication to CC however I have nothing beneficial to add other than to say I am in awe of your collections and think that it would be a good idea.

I use s4pe to combine files the same way I did for TS3. The tutorial for TS3 is here . The process is exactly the same for TS4. You can download s4pe here . I'm not sure if combining files compresses them, but it may assist in reducing load time.

I hope this helps...and where in the WORLD did you find 95.7 gigs of TS4 CC!?

Do what mflaha55 said if you're desperate, at the moment it's pretty much the only way.

At the moment I don't think there's a program in the works yet and I know you said getting rid of CC isn't your thing but there must be stuff you don't use :P
The last thing to do is think, is it that bad? You definitely don't have 96gbs of custom content.. I'm sorry but you must be making a mistake. Maybe it's megabytes? Maybe you're reading the wrong folder? Whatever it is, there shouldn't be much need to compress cc down at the moment. I'm heading towards 3gb for my collection and I've been following ts4 cc from day 1. If you still believe you have "95gb" of cc and you don't want to change that, invest in another hard drive or uninstall other stuff to make room for custom content.

Basically, there's no program (yet), you don't have 96gb of custom content because of that the issue isn't that bad.

That's a bit presumptuous of you to say they definitely don't have that much CC. There is so much stuff out there to download how do you know they don't have that much......
But I will agree that there is no need for compressorizer as the game runs so much better with mods and CC than the other Sims versions.
Just remember to Delete your localthumbcache.package every now and then. Do a google of the other cache files that you can delete.
