Hi there, I'm still trying to figure out how to fix my corruption problem. I usually play on a Mac with the Super Collection and I've transfered my whole neighborhood on a PC in order to use SimPE and the Hood Checker. A message pops up telling me that I'm using an unsupported version of the sims 2...

Then I get this :
"The neighborhood check was aborted! An error occurred during the examination of your neighborhood. The current version of the HoodChecker is unable to continue."

There definitely isn't any way to use the hood checker for me ?

Do you have TS2 installed on the PC? I wonder if it's freaking out because it wants to look at the character files in objects.package, but can't find them.

If you want to pack your hood up and upload it to say like Meidafire and PM me the link i can try and make it work.

Marka I don't think it will work as it's a problem with the fact I'm using the super collection but this is so nice of you to help on this, thanks a lot

I have already done other Mac Sims 2 hoods in the past and this is how i did it.

Make a folder called EA Games in My Doc. for windows and then make a folder in there called The Sims 2 and in this one make a folder called Neighborhoods. Now copy your hood to this folder.
In your copy of the hood you will have extra something in the Neighborhood folder and you need to remove that extra item that in not in the windows game and all that is left in there should be the normal folders and the Nxxx_Neighborhood and the Nxxx_Neighborhood PNG image pluse the Lots, Characters, Storytelling and Thumbnails folders.

Then try it and see what happens.
