Default Creating Gods: Suggest their traits!
Hi all,

In TS3, one of my favourite gameplay moments are placing some "Gods" by granting them appropriate traits. then give them imortality using Twallan Story Mod. Then I let them run around as NPC while playing my regular sims.

Since now there's the Immortality and Eternal mod here - http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=546211 , I'm thinking of creating back the Olympians in my game.

And considering TS4 allow us to add more and more traits (I'll be using cheats when creating them), I am overwhelmed by the amount of traits and the gods personality. So I might need your help with trait suggestions.

You can use these traits for reference - http://www.reddit.com/r/sims4Cheats/wiki/traits

So far I've done Appollo.

Need help with more. Currently need traits for Zeus, Poseidon, Hera, Aphrodity, Athena, Artemis, Hades, Hermes, Ares, Persephone and Hestia

What's those two traits, the night owl, with the owl icon, and the day sim, with the Sun icon? The latter would definitely suit Apollo, being the Sun god and all... And you have got to have a Hades, with all manner of unfriendliness who is a mortal enemy (Or should that be immortal enemy?) of the Grim Reaper and is permanently after his job. Venus and Adonis, I think you know exactly what to do there. Yummy, sexy, sassy total dirty-bertie-flirties all the way... Oh, and a slight deviant, Moodusa. Kind of like Medusa with all the snake hair, but her terrible lair is filled with cow plants so she may feed to keep her wicked goddess status, supping the life essence of all those mortal sims who fall victim to her cow plant orchard. With the nickname Moo-juicer. (See what I did there...)

I have a different concept of Hades, actually. He´s certainly less destructive and hot-headed than Zeus and though he did abduct Persephone, Zeus slaughtered both his nurse and his lover to make an armor respectively shield from them - that´s a different level of mistreatment. But Zeus is venerated and Hades despised
Hades deems me more a stern bureaucrat than a cruel person. He´ll kill you because he got an order, not because he enjoys it - but that doesn´t make you less dead, unfortunately. Of the three sons of Kronos Hades didn´t get a weapon, but an utility item (his invisibility cap), so he might be more a tactician than a fighter. This would probably translate to Lazy and Bookworm in The Sims. Lazy could also represent frail health, after all, Hades has been digested quite a long time, before little brother Zeus came to the rescue
Also as Kronos´ firstborn Hades might be more believeably after Zeus´ job, not Grim´s. I had some of the greek gods in my Shepard Legacy and Grim Reaper was no other than Charon, that is, a mere subordinate of Hades´.

Spontanously I´d give the brothers those traits:
Zeus - Hot-headed, Evil, Snob, Ambitious, Non-commital, Athletic, Romantic, Loves the Outdoors
Hades - Neat, Loner, Perfectionist, Bookworm, Lazy, Gloomy, reward trait from the collector aspiration (he knows where the treasures of the earth are), probably squeamish
Poseidon - don´t know him enough

The question is, how closely do you want your sims to resemble the mythological characters? Sometimes a good old stereotype is more entertaining than an in-depth analysis

I know this isn't about Greek gods or anything but how about making a really cool God that always knows what your thinking and does stuff for you in advance? How about one not related to killing their father or something off the wall like that. More like the God that invented ice cream with pieces of chocolate inside of it because God knew it was your favorite.
