Default How to hire premade sim instead of random townies?
Hi, I was wondering how can I hire a sim that I created for my restaraunt? I think there is a way but I can not seem to find how to do it anywhere, if anyone has any ideas I'd really appreciate it. I apologize if this isnt the right section, first time posting.

Create your Sims and put them into a house.
You can train them there if you want to (cooking, charisma, fitness).
Then let them move out, they are now "out of the world", but marked as "played".
Delete the other, never played random Sims, who appear every now and then.
Now you should be able to hire your created Sims!
It is possible that they don't appear all at the same time as "searching for work", then try again and again, several times.
Maybe you will have to delete new appearing random Sims again.
Please note that you can't play with your created Sims again, they have to stay "out of the world"!
As soon as you play with them they immediately lose their job!

While Candlelight's method works - and I agree with the 'they need to be townies' bit - I've had Sims I've created show up on the list. The list is just random. It pulls from residents that I believe have to be unemployed beforehand. All I'm really saying is that I've had Sims hired that I've made - and living in a house for that matter - show up on employment lists. If they don't show up, you can always just go home and try again the next day or reload your save and see if the list refreshes.
