Ok, so I recently got City Living, and my sim (Carolyn) gave Penny Pizazz her apartment key. Every now and then Penny shows up and declares its 'Games night' and an event metre appears in the corner. Nothing I do seems to make an impact on the event metre. Penny doesn't have an special interactions, neither does my games console. I hover over the event meter and it says my sim isn't participating (see image).

I've tried googling and looking up guides and I couldn't find anything about this event. Does anyone know what it is and how to participate?

After a little searching, I found a few posts that linked to an official EA site discussing how certain people have this glitch with their game. As far as I can tell, it hasn't ben fixed yet, but I didn't read through the whole post to make sure (here it is so you can do that on your own time). If you are still experiencing this glitch, it would be best to indicate on the (linked) EA forum that you are experiencing these issues (click "Me Too!") as that will indicate to EA that people are still having problems and that they need to look into it. Chances are (as indicated by the few number of people experiencing this) that the bug slipped through testing as it is rare to experience this bug, but that doesn't mean it's unfixable so EA should be made aware of it.
