Default More Than 8 Sims In CAS?
First of all, I'm so sorry if this has already been answered in any way, as I'm new to this entire thing, but here goes:

I've seen mods that allow you to have more than 8 Sims in a household, but wasn't entirely sure if there was a way to do that, but have all of said Sims created in CAS? Like, starting a game with more than 8 Sims? It's not the end of the world if none exist, but it'd just be nice to know as I want to start a game based on a work of mine that would involve 13 Sims/characters(Yeah, it's a lot).

Once again, so sorry if this has already been answered or is in general obvious to answer.

I'm pretty sure the 8-sim CAS maximum is hardcoded (so, impossible to get around with mods), but it's fairly easy to achieve what you want without it, especially if not all of the sims are related to each other.

Step 1: Split your 13 characters into two groups, each containing 8 or less sims, (So, 8+5 or 7+6) keeping any sims that share a family tree in the same group if possible.
Step 2: Make Group 1.
Step 3: Make Group 2.
Step 4: Move Group 1 into a lot.
Step 5: (with larger households mod installed) Move Group 2 into the same lot.
Step 6: If any of the sims are meant to be related to sims from the other group, use a mod (eg; master controller) to set any required parent/child/sibling/etc relationships.

Done!

Also, if you think you might want to use this 13 sim household in other saves in the future, save a copy of the household to the bin for future use! That way you get to skip all the extra work next time!

NRaas MasterController together with the MC Integration module increases the CAH limit to 10 (human, not pet) sims. But that's as far as it can go I'm afraid. For more than that, yes the best way is to do this in groups and blend them together into one household in-game, then adjust the family relationships as needed.

I am sure you are trying to be helpful, but this is a Sims 3 forum board. MCCC (a Sims 4 mod) is not to be confused with MC (an NRaas Sims 3 mod).

The two games are programmed very differently from each other and do not/cannot share mods between them.

Thanks for clarifying - I deleted the reply. I just wanted to be helpful
