This starter house may not use up the space in a "rational" way, but looks much more expensive than it actually worths! :D
Cost: $ 19,997 (luckily, the fridge is full ). 1 Bedroom, 1 full bathroom, a large open-space living/dining/kitchen and a basement. Complete "starter" furniture.
Special features: glass everywhere! A large transparent "wall", a futuristic glass terrace and a suspended transparent entrance. Two stealth stairs leading to the upper floor and to the basement.
Only original Maxis stuff was used, *except* two glass floor tiles from RGiles' transparent floor collection.
Note: this house was designed to be furnished with ultra-modern furniture, walls and floors, but this is the best I could do with the $20,000 budget :p
So, you should replace furniture and decors as soon as your sims can afford it
In the attached package you'll find the standard .sims2pack containing *only* the lot (the package was checked with the Clean Installer).
If you haven't already installed the RGiles' tranparent floor tiles, they are included in the zip: install them along with your custom floors, in the download folder; you have to install the included floor tiles only if you haven't already downloaded them from RGiles' original thread.

- You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.
