Ye olden days eyes for your Sims in the present!

A default replacement in memory of The Sims Medieval, which is now no longer available for purchase.. 🥀

This eye and face overlay DR is a mashup of the following:The iris and the face overlays come in two separate packages, so they can be mixed with other default replacements!

IMPORTANT!

You must clear your (World) Caches for these to take effect on existing Sims! A tutorial can be found HERE.

Fixes

Occult eyes fix: The iris alignment with occult eyes has been fixed. The iris is now perfectly centered with the eye glow from vampires and werewolves.

Face overlay fixes: EA severely messed up the inside of the mouth with children and toddlers. The textures of the teeth are very misaligned and the wrong scale, while the alpha of the tongue and oral cavity is incomplete, causing hideous skin-colored splotches. Both of these issues have been fixed!

Edits & info

TSM iris: While already converted before, those versions scaled up the tiny adult iris from TSM, which caused blurriness and worse quality. My version is a conversion of the TSM child iris, which has a bigger texture size, of which I've left the size/quality intact. The texture only had to be repositioned and it's alpha brought slightly inwards.

PBC N1 Eyelashes: The best default eyelash texture currently in existence for TS3! I've made the lashes for teen/adult/elder females a bit longer than the others. Check out ColorLash if you want to make them recolorable.

TSM tongue: The tongue textures have been directly converted from TSM. They only required some shadow edits, as they looked too flat and bright otherwise, so I've brought over the shading from the default tongue textures.

Sclera: The sclera from TSM lacks detail and simply doesn't look good in TS3. It also has an additional painted on iris, making it incompatible to be mixed with other iris defaults. So I've instead included another sclera texture of which I think the TSM iris looks the best with: re:Cerberus edit of the sclera by missy harries.

Teeth: I actually like the default teeth textures, but they had some major misalignment issues with toddlers and children, which the included face overlay default replacements fix.

Extra info: All textures are the standard 1024x1024 size and have been compressed using Crunch for the best possible quality result. No contacts version as of now, I'm hoping on CASextensions to add a better tab for them to be selected in.
