I tried this out in my game and it failed to work. Not sure why, but wanted to let you know that it was just a dead plant spot that didn't react, grow or do anything besides sit there.

Kuan - One of your mods might not be updated for the current patch. Try checking if they're all up to date.

I tried this mod and it allowed me a new plant soil mound but the mound didn't grow at all. I removed it and tried a second time with no affect.

For all those people for whom this mod is not working properly, - like myself - can we clarify if we are using any other "gardening" type mods where there might be a conflict. I use the revamped Dolphin's Gardening Gnome and I also use SimsMX missing autosoil plants. As such, as far as this mod goes, all I get is the mound of dirt that cannot grow strawberries. No strawberries are in the shop either. Though my sim can cook a strawberry pie, with a strawberry sitting on the chopping board while making the pie, a red (key lime) strawberry pie afterwards. I didn't check to see any moodlets after eating pie, I just took the mod out. Essentially, if all I'm getting is a red key lime pie, the mod is not worth the risk in case it might have unseen knock on effects with the other gardening mods.

Can you have baby girls the same if eating watermelons?

I also use the Missing Auto Soils mod by Sims MX and have no problems with either the Auto Soils or this mod.
I am able to place the missing auto soils from buydebug as normal (not the strawberry plant obviously, just in case anyone was wondering ).
My Sim can buy the strawberry from the grocer and plant it and it will grow successfully. He has also found strawberry seeds spawned by a seed spawner.
The moodlets also work correctly for me. I haven't really tried the buff that you get from eating a fresh strawberry, but my Sim definitely had the divine meal moodlet after eating the pie.

EDIT: I thought I would try the Gardening Gnome (though it's not something I would normally use) to see if it would work and it does for me. I am using the latest version updated by jimhsu here Dolphin's Magic Gardening Gnome version 1.2b
The Gnome treats the strawberry plant just like any other.
Also the Attractive moodlet from eating a fresh strawberry does work for me.

I've tried to use this mod in the past and I've had the issue of it never showing up in my game as well. I'm not using any gardening mods and most of my mods are tuning mods that don't conflict with this one at all. :c I'd really love to have this awesome mod in my game too..Hope the creator can maybe find a solution if possible.

I am also using auto soil and the gardening gnome and it still doesn't work.

Install Help:

• Did you patched you game? this mod requires basegame patch 1.67.
• Did you installed this mod correctly? test with another mod to check if your game is at least loading the mods.
• Did you installed the latest version of this mod? check the mod version stated in the filename, and redownload the file if necessary.
• Did you installed the correct file? the "douglasveiga_Strawberry_Plant_ ... _Translations.package" files are optional and don't include the mod. I mean, you need to download the "douglasveiga_Strawberry_Plant_v1.*.package" file.
• Did you updated all your installed mods to match the current installed basegame patch? you need to make sure all your mods are updated, because an outdated mod can affect another mod during the loading process.
• The Mod still doesn't load? post a message over here.

• Does this works with Dolphin26's - MagicGardeningGnome? Yes, it works.

I tried renaming the package file to the original file name as you had advised, douglas, but that unfortunately didn't do the trick..All my mods are up to date and none are conflicting. I have checked in Delphy's Dashboard as well. Clearing caches hasn't done anything either. :-( It just doesn't show up in my game for some reason.
