In the tradition of San Francisco's spectacular Painted Ladies, I offer you my own take - a Victorian-style home on a narrow lot. It's one of my favourite houses to play, mostly because it's purple inside and out and purple is one of my favourite colours. Plus I like the idea of maybe this house being in a downtown area somewhere, a little hidden gem nestled in amongst the gigantic ultra-modern skyscrapers and whatnot.

The Details:

1X3 Lot
$ 24, 947
Three-storeys
One car garage
2 bathrooms
1 bedroom
Small lap pool with a wee patio
Extra room off garage - I used it as a place to store all of my Simmie's skill-building stuff, but I suppose it could be a second bedroom
Sun Deck off kitchen

Terms of Use:

1. Do not upload this lot anywhere.
2. Do not claim it as your own.
3. Remember the Golden Rule.

Please note: The house is NOT FURNISHED!!! The photos were taken during play-testing with my self-Sim and while I'd love to upload the house fully furnished, it would take more time and effort than I'm willing to spend tracking down all of the custom content. So, please don't ask where I found stuff or if I'll upload a furnished house. I'll give you a hint, though: Use the Sims2Wiki - the custom content directory is so beyond awesome!

Well, I guess that's it. Your comments are deeply appreciated and please don't forget to clickie clickie on the "Thanks" button over there!
