I really liked Rotchild's mod Child Only Sprinkler, but while I wouldn't want my adults to play with the sprinkler autonomously, I'd still like to be able to direct them to use it. So I made the "no autonomous" mods of different flavors:

NoAutonomousSprinkler -no one can use sprinkler autonomously
NoVisitorsSprinkler - only active household can use sprinkler autonomously
ActiveChildrenOnlySprinkler - among children only those of the active household can use sprinkler autonomously, other ages can't use at all

EDIT: Oops, I had slight reading problem:
In fisrt two cases any sim can be directed to use a sprinkler and be asked to join to play without any problem - any age and visitors also.
With ActiveChildrenOnlySprinkler non active children cannot use sprinkler autonomously, and other ages cannot use at all, similiar to Rotchild's mod. I will continue to look into matter, but as of now it's not possible to tune autonomousity by age.

Use only one! Also you can not use Rotchild’s “Child Only Sprinkler” with these mods.
