Telescope Optics Enhancement Kit for The Sims 3. (Updated July 10)
With advent of new revolution in astronomical telescope technology like active optics, synthetic aperture mirror, and optical interferometer, modern astronomer can research stars in distant galaxies of outer space better than ever.
But most of these improvements are only for reflecting telescope with huge diameter. Backyard astronomer Sims like us with small-diameter refracting telescope are out of luck. This patent-pending "Telescope Optics Enhancement Kit" amplifies light-collecting power of your telescope by factor of two. But, due to its current limitation, it should be reconfigured in every one hour or so. While doing "Star Gazing", if you find a new meteorite, or no meteorite is found for up to one hour, then stop "Star Gazing" and restart "Star Gazing" again.
USAGE:
Unzip "SimCutie_BetterTelescope-B.zip" and put "BetterTelescope_X2.package" file into "Program Files/The Sims 3"/Mods/Packages" folder.
To view mod-tweak details, just open and view the "BetterTelescope_X2.package" file in your text editor like Notepad.
