Say Thanks!
Thanked!
This is somthing I oringinally requested, but the person I asked thought it would be a tricky meshing project- but that didn't stop me from trying it myself!
What I've done is taken that Suit of Armour mascot outfit from OFB, which is clothing, and made it into an object.
It comes in all four maxis colours:

The mesh and recolours are all included in the the download. The armour appears in the buy catalog under decorative -> Sculptures, for $2500. the catalog pic looks a bit weird, it just shows the knight's feet, but it still works fine. see attached pic to see what I mean.
It started life as a fruit bowl clone and became a suit of armour using SimPe, Milkshape and UV Mapper.
Polygon Counts:
Suit of Armour: 3780 (!) this would be because it's originally a body mesh- these have a higher poly count than objects. also, it's quite a complex mesh with lots details. you probably shouldn't use too many of these on a lot!
Additional Credits:
Special thanks to moune999 (http://www.modthesims.info/member.php?u=163550) whose exellent object creation tutorial (http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=399438) taught me to create packages and make meshes!

This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below for more information.
MTS has all free content, all the time. Donate to help keep it running.
