Meet Andy Anderson!
Andy had always thought a career in the real estate business would be exciting. Plus, it would certainly pay well, right? Enough to move out of the apartment complex, that's for sure. Maybe even a sports car? Well perhaps if a real estate career came with The Sims 2, poor Andy could afford these things!
Fortunately, I set about creating just such a career for poor Andy, so he could fulfill the dream he had since creation.... about four days ago.
About This Career
No uniform required. I prefer to change my Sims' clothes daily. So just change into formal gear before work and you're set!
Realistic pay and working hours. This means 9am-5pm most days. :P
Non-ugly carpools, even at lower career levels.
Slower motive decay than Maxis careers. I find it unrealistic to think that a sim would not drink or pee during work hours.
Chance cards included at each level.
No friends requirement. I find it a bit of an unrealistic requirement. (Added a version with a friend req.)

Level 1: Intern Pay: $80 Hours: 9am-4pm Days: Mon-Fri Skills Needed: - Description: Fresh out of University, it can be difficult to find an actual paying job. Luckily, Sims & Co. saw your potential and took you on as part of their internship program. Keep out of trouble, get the bosses coffee order correct, and maybe he'll think about keeping you on after the internship ends.
Level 2: Personal Assistant Pay: $150 Hours: 9am - 5pm Days: Mon-Fri Skills: 1 Charisma Description: You passed your internship with flying colours! The boss was very impressed with your work ethic and can-do attitude. Who knew being pleasant would get you so far in business? The boss has hired you as his personal assistant; it's not exactly the job title you wanted, but hey - it's a job! Take advantage of the position to earn some great experience in the world of real estate.
Level 3: Asst. Real Estate Agent Pay: $210 Hours: 9am-5pm Days: Mon-Fri Skills: 2 Charisma, 1 Logic Description: The boss has recognised your hard work and rewarded you with a new position. You are now an assistant real estate agent. Your work involves accompanying 'real' agents on viewings and meetings with clients, coffee runs, and mail sorting. You're learning more about the world of real estate though, so keep your work to a high standard!
Level 4: Property Appraiser Pay: $295 Hours: 9am-5pm Days: Mon-Fri Skills: 2 Charisma, 3 Logic Description: Better break out that old math book from University, because you've just been promoted to property appraiser! Your new position involves determining the value of properties, based on size, structure, comparisons, etc. Keep working hard and perhaps some new, exciting opportunities will present themselves soon.
Level 5: Real Estate Agent Pay: $355 Hours: 9am-5pm Days: Mon-Fri Skills: 3 Charisma, 4 Logic Description: You have accepted a position with rival firm Newbie & Roomie Inc. You are now a full-fledged real estate agent in your own right. Congratulations! Perfecting your sales pitch is important at this level if you want to keep rising through the ranks at your new firm.
Level 6: Auctioneer Pay: $495 Hours: 9am-5pm Days: Mon, Tue, Thurs, Fri Skills: 5 Charisma, 1 Creativity, 4 Logic Description: Congratulations, you've been promoted to Auctioneer at Newbie & Roomie Inc. The company has given you the prominent position in their downtown Real Estate Auction Hall, which features on the hit home-renovation show, 'Sim SOS'.
Level 7: Broker Pay: $650 Hours: 9am-5pm Days: Tue-Fri Skills: 6 Charisma, 1 Creativity, 5 Logic Description: Your work has been of the highest standard recently, and the boss has certainly noticed. The firm has given you your own office with a view, and a long-weekend work schedule. This is your dream job, so don't slack off now. Keep working hard to climb even higher with Newbie & Roomie Inc.
Level 8: Office Supervisor Pay: $845 Hours: 9am-3pm Days: Mon-Fri Skills: 7 Charisma, 2 Creativity, 6 Logic Description: Congratulations! You've been promoted to Office Supervisor. Your boss is singing your praises to all who will listen, which bodes extremely well for you and your future prospects. Your job now involves making sure everything at Newbie and Roomie Inc. runs smoothly, so that your boss can relax and enjoy his new yacht. Enjoy the shorter working days and impressive pay-rise that comes with a management position.
Level 9: Real Estate Developer Pay: $930 Hours: 9am-5pm Days: Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri Skills: 8 Charisma, 2 Creativity, 7 Logic Description: Newbie & Roomie Inc. has started their own real estate development business, and have chosen you to manage it! Working alongside an architect and an interior decorator, you are designing and selling new homes to all citizens of Simnation!
Level 10: Celebrity Realtor Pay: $1475 Hours: 10am-2pm Days: Mon-Thurs Skills: 9 Charisma, 4 Creativity, 7 Logic Description: You've finally made it - you are the most famous realtor in Simnation! Sims from all over the country rely on you to find their dream homes for them; and will pay an extortionate percentage fee for that privilege. Enjoy the shorter working hours and ridiculous income that comes with landing your dream job - you've earned it!

They pay is good though, and you are learning something. Unfortunately, there are dull moments, but a staff member usually sees you sitting idle soon enough and offers you something to staple or label...
Level 2: Personal Assistant Pay: $50 Hours: 3pm - 5pm Days: Mon-Thurs Skills: 1 Charisma, 1 Logic Description: Now that you are Mr. Newbie's personal assistant, your job involves so much more than just ordering coffee. You now get to sort the mail and make restaurant reservations too! At least the pay is better...
Level 3: Asst.
