Hi everyone! Today I am bringing you a home that is actually a little unusual. This home falls into the same category as a previous home of mine called "Color Me Orange," the reason being it was built and is meant to be placed on an uncharted island. The island in question is Beryl Shoals in Isla Paradiso. Now, I'm sure it will fit on any 64x64 size lot you put in the water, but in my experience, making islands by placing lots in the ocean makes it impossible for my Sims to reach them by boat. This house works fine on Beryl Shoals but I'm not sure if it will be boat accessible on a custom island.

Anyway! This house is called the Gem Of the Islands. It is a bit of a different approach to island homes, I feel, where instead of being a small happy beach house, this is a giant five bedroom mansion built directly over the water. The home has a front entrance boats can pull up to as well as two separate boat entrances on either side of the home. Elevators will take your Sims up and into the house from the side ports. The interior is elaborately furnished with rich d�cor and includes a number of rooms, from a music room, billiard room, bar lounge, sprawling dining room, study, grand entertainment room, and an elegant indoor swimming pool.

There are five bedrooms and six bathrooms in this home with the master bedroom occupying the right wing. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom and doors onto the sprawling balconies that give a great view out into the ocean. Guests and family members can enjoy their meals in the large and impressive dining room and can be entertained in both the bar lounge on the second floor, or the grand entertainment room on the first floor. The indoor swimming pool will ensure your Sims can enjoy taking a swim, even if the weather outside is abysmal.

This was a really fun house to build and play around in. I hope you enjoy placing it in your game as well, although you may have to do a little work to unlock the hidden island it is to be placed on. Like I said, you can also experiment placing it on other custom island lots as well and see if it works. Happy Simming!
