I recreated "Duplanter Dwelling" from "The Sims 4: Paranormal Stuff" in "The Sims 2".

I tried to keep everything in the same shapes, styles and colours as it is in "The Sims 4, but still I had to make it on "The Sims 2" engine, so few things are not the same because I had to make this house also functional.

What I loved in "The Sims 4 build was the New Orleans style, all those fancy colours and mixed styles in rooms filled with details. The house itself looks amazing and I just decided to try building it in "The Sims 2".

Miniature version

That's why I used all my real life creativity and I built it in miniature as a nightstand long time ago. I keep it on my shlef and I would love to share with you pictures of it 🤍

UPDATE 1.0!

I came back to this build to update it. It's still one of my favourite houses that I've seen, so I thought that I can improve it with new skills I have with this game engine. The original house that I built is still here if you want that version because it's more similar to "The Sims 4 version of this house. An updated version is more detaild with my ideas.

UPDATE 2.0!

I came back to this lot AGAIN! I play on this lot in my private gameplay and it started to be quite crowded, so I rebuilt it on a slite bigger lot to add a driveway. I wanted my sims to have a car. Also I added a functional basement so this house has more space in it.
The house itself is the same version as the "Duplantier Dwelling Updated" version from the inside.
I made all those changes and thought to myself that I should share it with you here, on ModTheSims.

Update 3.0!
✨ Because there is always room for improvements! ✨

I still play on this lot and having a gameplay here requires changes all the time around the house. Now I've created my favourite version of this house by far! I edited the surroundings, made the lot bigger to add a driveway and I deleted the basement. Why? Because visiting sims were going straight to the basement to ring for the door and I hated that. That's why I added a functional attic to have more space around the house if you need to. I also changed some decorations and colors around the house to make it nicer.

Mods I recommend to use with this lot:
(They are not needed, but that might help with proper working of things on this lot or with gameplay.)

- Shiftable Everything (I used this mod a lot to make this lot detailed. Having it in your 'Downloads' folder might help with proper work of furniture on this lot.)

- Perfect Plants (Some of the plants in garden are set on cheats and your sims may have problems to get to them to take care of those plants.)

- Watch TV from all chairs (Sometimes I set TVs in places that sims can't really wath them from chairs or sofas. This mod will help them to sit and watch the TVs.)

- No Fire from Fireplaces (Sometimes I put fireplaces on cheats and near the furniture so be careful with lightning them up or simply download this mod.)

- Use Inaccessible Bed (It helps sims to reach beds if they need to.)

I used cheats to build it and I tested it so everything should work fine.

I didn't use any custom content to build this.

I built this in "The Sims 2: Ultimate Collection", so I don't know how it will work with other versions of the game.
