This is a recreation of the sim characters from the 2013 Sims 3 gameplay YouTube series "The Tunt Life" from the now defunct gaming comedy channel Inside Gaming. I rewatched this series a few years ago and it was the main reason I started playing Sims 3 again. If you're interested, you can still find the series on YouTube. If not, just know these sims have intentionally funny and ridiculous looks, outfits, and backstories, and their lives in the series were made unnecessarily difficult due to both neglect and the Inside Gaming crew not bothering to learn how to play the game even after making 20+ episodes of this show.
I created these sims entirely by studying the series episodes and livestreams. No mods, CC, or custom sliders were used in their creation. The screenshots all use default EA skins, textures, etc. The pack requirements are for clothing and some other CAS items like tattoos. (Pack requirements for each individual sim are noted below.)
DISCLOSURE: I am not associated with Inside Gaming/Funhaus or any of the awesome people who worked there. I'm just a fan who started making these sims for my own personal use and decided to share them with the community.
WHAT'S INCLUDED:
Kundt Kundt (the original main character who died way too quickly because they made him an elder)
Tunt Kundt (the son of Kundt) - includes child, teen, and young adult versions
Jannis Topland (Tunt's adoptive mother) - includes adult and elder versions
Each sim should come with every outfit they can be seen wearing in the series (except for career outfits). In cases where a sim was not seen wearing a certain type of outfit, I took the liberty of creating one that fit with the rest of their wardrobe (see the notes under each sim below).
PACKS USED:
See the pack requirements listed for each individual sim below. In total, all expansion packs are used, as well as Master Suite Stuff and Movie Stuff. You should still be able to use these sims even if you don't have all the packs, they will simply load with different clothes and accessories.

The Tunt Life wouldn't be complete without all of Tunt's memorable pets - each one briefly owned before they were swiftly taken away by the government. Who could forget Boogie, or Boogie 2 (Electric Boogieloo!), or Trash Death, or ShartaNay!
Kundt Kundt "I wanna be an actor!"
Kundt is a simple man with a simple dream, although he always seems to take the most indirect route possible to achieve it. His only friend is the paperboy. He hits on women by telling them ghost stories based on his horrifying past. He will try to take your dog home if you leave it unattended.
Kundt loves vampires and wears prosthetic fangs. He's not entirely sure why his arms are covered in bird tattoos and prefers not to talk about it. And he doesn't know it, but he has a long-lost son named Tunt - which was an inevitability considering he lost count of how many times he's visited the sperm bank.
Recently paroled, Kundt arrived in Bridgeport and found an open penthouse at the old run down Civil Suites building. Someone had set it up as a joke apartment with multiple beds and toilets in the living room, but Kundt thought it looked really nice and moved in immediately. Kundt recently lost his uncle, who left him thousands of simoleans in his will but with an unusual stipulation: Kundt could only spend the money on refrigerators. However, he soon realized decorating his apartment with fridges was a great idea because even though the repo man comes every day to take his stuff, he always leaves the fridges alone.
After Kundt's fridge-buying habit quickly got out of hand, he decided the obvious solution to his problems was to become an acrobat. However, after spending an entire morning working out for the first time in his life, Kundt discovered he lived two blocks away from the Plumbob Pictures movie backlot. After remembering his lifelong dream was to become an actor, he immediately joined the film career.
Sure, Kundt might be a slob, but he's also extremely lazy. He hates cleaning and leaves dirty plates all over the floor. He often skips work to take a "me" day. He once got halfway through making waffles before getting bored and leaving the house with them still in the oven. It started a huge fire that burned down all the beds and toilets in his living room while he was gone. Instead of getting rid of all the burnt furniture, Kundt just stuffed it in the spare bedroom and locked the door.
Kundt hasn't been to the future. But if he ever did travel to Oasis Landing, he'd probably get bored of living rent-free in a paradise surrounded by beautiful women and endless food. As a con man, he'd quickly realize what a huge oversight it was that he was allowed to enter Buy Mode and sell anything on the community center lot. Strapped for cash, Kundt would probably sell everything he could get his hands on - including all the doors, windows, and bushes - and promptly take the money back to the past so he could buy a huge flat screen TV for his bathroom/dining room and a new Sloppy Jalopy for his living room/bedroom.

Kundt's outerwear outfit was created by me since he never wore one in the YouTube series
Tunt is the son of Kundt Kundt via sperm donation. He was quickly put up for adoption by his mother for unknown reasons and was eventually adopted by Jannis Topland. Tunt doesn't know much about his father other than Jannis says to never talk about him. One day, after hearing that Kundt suddenly dropped dead from diabetes, Jannis and Tunt decided to move back to Bridgeport.
Unfortunately, Tunt never received an inheritance from his father. He would find out later that Kundt had recently made an enemy: the time traveler Emit Relevart. Furious after Kundt sold everything on the Oasis Landing Community Center lot and snuck away with all the cash, Emit traveled back in time to just after Kundt's death, stole back the money, then had Kundt's filthy apartment condemned. As a result, Tunt and Jannis were forced to move into a cabin underneath the bridge.
Living in a dark, dingy, conveniently isolated cabin does have its perks. While Jannis enjoys drinking nonstop from her beloved juice bar, Tunt gets to learn plenty of life skills like fixing his own dinner and washing the dirty dishes that pile up on the floor. Tunt will also confidently do his homework without any help, although that doesn't mean he does any of it right.
Tunt loves his horse Boogie, his cat Horse, and his dog Cat. His favorite evening activity appears to be putting on his tuxedo and eating a carton of ice cream while sitting on the toilet. He truly is his father's son.
Jannis Topland (adult) "We don't talk about him!" - Jannis whenever Tunt asks about his father
Little is known about Jannis' life before adopting Tunt. She may have always been a heavy drinker, or maybe that started after realizing she had to move into a cabin under a bridge. It's unclear whether Jannis knew Kundt before his sudden death, but either way she knows that her current situation is definitely his fault. Years ago, Jannis had another son named Dexter who mysteriously died. It was Dexter's death that made Jannis decide to adopt Tunt.
After moving to Bridgeport, Jannis tried to rescue Dexter from the jaws of death by buying a time machine from the consignment store and bringing Dexter to the present. However this angered the sim gods, who opened a time portal and dragged Jannis and Tunt back in time to their last game save before they bought the time machine. When Jannis returned to the consignment store looking for the time machine, it was gone.
Jannis fills the hole in her heart by loving and nurturing animals. She loves adopting new pets, even if she has no idea how to take care of them and they end up getting taken away within days. Jannis is in the military, but she's been a private for years and it doesn't look like that's changing any time soon. If things don't turn around for her, Jannis might have to start trapping people in her basement just to feel some sense of accomplishment.

Jannis is literally one of the default sims from the bin with a few customizations. She was created soley because the game wouldn't allow Child Tunt to live by himself. Customizations made were her age changed from young adult to adult, adjustments to skin tone, body modification sliders, and a neck tattoo. Sleepwear 2 was the only outfit custom made for her in the series. The rest of her outfits were game-generated and the Inside Gaming crew left them as-is.
Adult Jannis' athletic and outerwear outfits were created by me since she is never seen wearing either one.

Tunt Kundt (teen) "I miss Boogie."
Tunt is now a teenage boy! And no surprise, he's being a rebellious teen as teens are want to do. Tunt grew a pony tail, he wears weird random clothing combinations, and of course he wears face paint. When Tunt went to prom, he asked the limo driver to be his date. They named him king of the prom anyway, although he might have been the only person who showed up.
Tunt will never forget experiencing the trauma of having all three of his pets taken away by the goverment for animal neglect. He keeps calling the animal shelter to talk to Boogie, but they won't put him on the phone. Lately, Tunt's been getting out of the house and doing other things, like hanging out at dive bars, hitting on women twice his age, and telling ghost stories to crowds of people outside Flying V's Coffeehouse. Tunt also has an after school job working at the mortuary in the middle of the night (which is probably in violation of several child labor laws, but oh well).

Also included is Tunt's career outfit from his part time job at the mortuary. For some reason, it consists of a white suit and bare feet
Tunt's insane muscle definition appears to only show up well in CAS unless you use skin and normal map mods to make it more visible, or another mod that fixes this known issue.

Tunt Kundt (young adult) "I want to be the president!"
Tunt has finally reached young adulthood and somehow managed to graduate from high school. As he aged up on his birthday, he was struck with an epiphany: He must become the president! Tunt wasn't sure how to become the president, so he went to city hall and asked for the job. Unfortunately, they said no. But they did give him a job as a podium polisher.
They say you've gotta dress for the job you want, and that's why Tunt decided to start dressing like Kim Jong-Un, president of Korea or whatever. Tunt can't wait to go to college and eventually drop out. After that? Maybe go spelunking in some French Celtic tombs or become the captain of a house boat and look for treasure. The world is his oyster.
At his high school graduation, Tunt gave this memorable speech:
"My fellow graduates, even though I never got to know any of you, and even though I have four people in my basement, I'd like to say I can't wait to be your president. Amen!"
Tunt didn't know it, but there just happened to be a private investigator in attendance that day who had been searching for the missing Elspeth Cook for weeks...

Jannis Topland (elder) "Those kids locked themselves in my basement!" - Jannis, probably.
For Jannis, Tunt's entire childhood was a blur. One day he was a little boy playing with his favorite horse Boogie. The next, Tunt was selling her house and moving the two of them to a house boat off the coast of Isla Paradiso to lay low.
Sure, they might have been forced to flee Bridgeport in the middle of the night because Jannis had been holding Elspeth Cook and her friends hostage for months. How was Jannis supposed to know Elspeth was the daughter of a City Councilman? And sure, maybe a house boat in the middle of the ocean wasn't the best environment for Tunt's new horse ShartaNay, but you gotta think fast when the Bridgeport City Council sends the feds after you.
They didn't stay in Isla Paradiso for very long. Fearing Elspeth's dad might have tracked them there, Tunt and Jannis ditched the house boat and bought a haunted mansion in Sunset Valley. It's been a long, crazy journey, but the coast might finally be clear.
Even though Jannis is now an elder, she's still a private in the military (which might be some kind of record). And she still supports Tunt, whether he decides to be a ghostbuster, or the president or whatever. Despite all the ups and downs, Jannis remains in good spirits. (Or maybe she just has good spirits?) Anyway, she's really looking forward to the next bender - er, I mean chapter - of her life.

Elder Jannis is never seen wearing the formal, athletic, or outerwear outfits, so those were created by me.
Her default everyday outfit includes jeans that are normally only obtainable without cheats via the music career. (They must have had the "UnlockOutfits" cheat turned on when her wardrobe was created.) Just in case that causes issues for some people, I gave her a second everyday outfit with similar-looking base game jeans.

Install Instructions
Quick Guide:
1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the sim to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sim file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\SavedSims folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game, enter Create-a-Sim, and save a sim to the sim bin to create this folder, rather than doing so manually. After that you can close the game and put the .sim file in SavedSims
4. Once the .sim file is in SavedSims, you can load the game, and look for your sim in the premade sims bin in Create-a-Sim.
Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.
