Dr. Krauss' Cabin is a hut in the woods from "Ghost Master" game. It's in two levels in this game:"Summoners Not Included" and "The Blair Wisp Project".

I decided to rebuild it and give it a little makeover in "The Sims 2", also I wanted to keep some things and details from the "Ghost Master" game that were crucial for this cabin.

There is an outside toilet where Raindancer ghost was trapped. I made it bigger than in the original, because I wanted this lot to be also functional. So there is a shower and a sink too.
You can also find a dreamcatcher in the cabin's corridor which was a trap for a Whisperwind ghost.
There is a higher ground in the cellar near the staircase. This is supposed to be a grave where Moonscream is buried. Her ghost is trapped there in "Ghost Master" game.

I took references from the remastered version of the "Ghost Master" game called "Ghost Master: Resurrection". As I said I tried to keep the original look of the house but also I used my own ideas and suggestions about decorating and solutions around the cabin to make it more detailed.

I built this cabin in "The Sims 2" because I needed a mysterious hut hidden in the woods for my private gameplay. I love "Ghost Master", it's a sentimental game from my childhood and I'm really happy that we got a remastered version of this game.
That's why I picked this cabin to rebuild into my game.

Now let's talk about the basement.
In the original game the basement is just a big storage space with a spellbook, a radio and a grave. "Ghost Master" has a lot of references to the pop culture and this cabin is supposed to represent the one from "Evil Dead" movie. So I decided that I'd place there a lot of candles and witchcraft supplies to show that this mysterious cellar is actually a place of rituals, as it was in the original game. Also I wanted to place this cabin in a "Belladonna Cove" neighbourhood instead of a hidden witch house in the corner of the map. That's why the basement differ a lot from the original game.

Overall I'm really really happy with the final effect of my work. As a kid I always tried to build it in "The Sims 2" but I would never get the result like that then. Now, knowing a few tricks and stuff helped me to finish this project as perfect as I wanted it to be.

I also built other stuff from "Ghost Master" game in "The Sims 2" and there's the link if you want to check it out:

Mods I recommend to use with this lot:
(They are not needed, but that might help with proper working of things on this lot or with gameplay.)

- Shiftable Everything (I used this mod a lot to make this lot detailed. Having it in your 'Downloads' folder might help with proper work of furniture on this lot.)

- Perfect Plants (Some of the plants in garden are set on cheats and your sims may have problems to get to them to take care of those plants.)

- Watch TV from all chairs (Sometimes I set TVs in places that sims can't really wath them from chairs or sofas. This mod will help them to sit and watch the TVs.)

- No Fire from Fireplaces (Sometimes I put fireplaces on cheats and near the furniture so be careful with lightning them up or simply download this mod.)

- Use Inaccessible Bed (It helps sims to reach beds if they need to.)

I used cheats to build it.

I tested this lot myself so everything should work fine.

I used Grid Adjuster to lower the base of the house.

I didn't use any custom content to build this.

I built this in "The Sims 2: Ultimate Collection", so I don't know how it will work with other versions of the game.

I hope you enjoy!
