Queer As Folk: 6 Minor Characters

"There's Nought so Queer as Folk" - old English proverb

Here are 6 minor characters from the North American version of "Queer As Folk". They were recently repackaged (Sept 2008) with all EPs & SPs installed, so please install them with Clean Installer to avoid "missing EP" error messages. Please also note that these sims use Maxis skin. They won't look right if you have default-replacement skins installed. To avoid this problem, you can download non-default Maxis skins here and fix the sims in CAS. Daphne uses "tan" skin, the rest use "light" skin. Extra special thanks to all the custom content creators mentioned below, and of course to the actors, writers, and entire crew that worked on QAF.

Included Content & Important Technical Details:
  • Daphne Chanders (Makyla Smith)
    • Eyes by me (fanseelamb) included.
    • Unsigned blush and eyeshadow included. They're old files with random numbers for filenames and no tooltips. So I have no way to credit them. I'm sure the creator wouldn't mind them being included though... otherwise they would have signed them.
    • Lipstick by Rensim included.
    • Hair by me (fanseelamb) included. If you want it to work properly for toddlers, you'll need melodie9's mesh. Mesh is not included.
    • Top by migamoo included.
    • Top mesh by HystericalParoxysm included.
    • Pants by me (fanseelamb) included. Pants require H&M Stuff. Change them in CAS if you don't have H&M Stuff.

  • Vic Grassi (Jack Wetherall)
    • Brows by me (fanseelamb) included.
    • Unsigned "sore eyes" eyeshadow included. It's an old file with random numbers for a filename and no creator name in the tooltip. So I have no way to credit it. I'm sure the creator wouldn't mind it being included though... otherwise they would have signed it.
    • No other custom content. Outfit requires Bon Voyage. Change it in CAS if you don't have Bon Voyage.

  • Blake Wyzecki (Dean Armstrong)
  • Ethan Gold (Fabrizio Filippo)
    • Eyes and soulpatch by me (fanseelamb) included.
    • Outfit by me (fanseelamb) included. Requires Apartment Life. Change it in CAS if you don't have Apartment Life.
    • Unsigned eyelids included. It's an old file with no creator name in the tooltip or filename, so I have no way to credit it. I'm sure the creator wouldn't mind it being included though... otherwise they would have signed it.
    • Hair by me (fanseelamb) + mesh by Maxis included. For this hair to work properly for toddlers, kids, and teens, you'll also need to download DJ_Mur3's age converted mesh which is not included. Sorry for using 2 meshes there, but they're slightly different and I prefer the Maxis adult mesh.
    • Violin comes with Free Time.

  • Joan Kinney (Lynne Deragon)
    • Brows by Helaene included.
    • Eyes by me (fanseelamb) included.
    • Top by me (fanseelamb) included. You can download a few more here.
    • No other custom content. Hair requires University. Change it in CAS if you don't have University.

  • Hunter Montgomery (Harris Allan)
    • Brows by me (fanseelamb) included.
    • Eyes by oepu included.
    • Lips by AtomicSpaceKitty included.
    • Hair by Raonsims not included. Download it or pick another hairstyle in CAS.
    • No other custom content. Outfit requires H&M Stuff. Pick another outfit in CAS if you don't have H&M Stuff.
