Thank you for the comments, Jo! :lovestruc I often use those white bricks inside for kitchens as I think they look like big white tiles. But I think perhaps you're right they don't fit fantastically here.

The tower with the fence is supposed to be a climbing structure. I just couldn't shake this image of the nook being a tower coming out of the house... I tried a few configurations and this worked best. I did want it a storey higher, but ran out of money. I was trying to recreate like a 3D climbing wall for some kind of modern style rock climbing/gymnastics. And then with the child's toy, I was thinking he could use it to do pull-ups on, so a total of four work out spots other than the pool, though after I posted, I reflected that other people had used actually-usable in-game pieces of exercise equipment rather than mocking them up, so perhaps neither of those two count. Ah well. I suppose if you wanted to, you could count the radio and/or the TV as the third one.

I changed the roofing since I wasn't happy with the previous one and add the required party items.

While the urge for me to tweak is never-ending, real life is being such a pain. I have to make some important RL arrangements soon. Plus someone else is DARING to work on job resumes on the computer with my game. The nerve!

It appears that my time in the second round is going to be much shorter than I anticipated because of this RL event ... probably by about five or six days. I might be the one finishing close to the wire next time. But I'm determined that even if I put a fancy version of my Box Motel here, I want to put SOMETHING up. I don't know exactly how long this RL event is going to take me. I wish I could say it was a pleasant one, but it is not. Please don't be surprised if you see a preliminary version that I'll put up before I leave, just in case I can't get back to it, followed by whatever tweaks I can possibly do afterward ... and you might very well see me doing the tweaks one or two hours before the deadline. This is a bummer, but I can't get around it. Moreover, it looks like I'll have to do this the next round, too, with even more of a time constraint (at least a day or two less time, and it's Part 2 of this event). Having two such time constraints was unexpected for me. I knew about one, but not the other, and I admit to being ticked off about it. How good am I at doing builds with a third to a half less the time limit allowed? I will have to see. Quite a few of you managed just fine under similar circumstances. Better than fine ... you did great!

In five hours, we'll be seeing a message very similar to what we hear on a U. S.-based cooking show called "Chopped" at the end of a round ... "Time's up. Please step back!"

Ok here is my entry I had to retake my pictures because I couldn't find them all! I don't know what happened to them

Gee ... and here I was complaining about my circumstances the next two rounds. You did a great job despite Mother Nature and your pictures not cooperating!

One thing ... two of your pictures have "the grids". The good news is that you might be able to do quick retakes of those two, since you do have a few hours yet. Those shouldn't be too hard to do, unless Mother Nature is still being uncooperative, then hopefully the judges will understand that. I would think they would under the circumstances.

Ok One of those is the price, how do you take a picture of the price without the grid? I can't get it to go away with the price showing?

I find that one is tricky. I try to get the camera exactly as I want it, then I click the shovel and the terrain icon, then tab (I think ... I'm not on the gaming machine. It may be tab, then the shovel and terrain). Unlike the other pictures, once that price is displayed, I find it hard to move the camera.

Another option is what some people did here ... just cut out the price itself. But you'll lose an extra picture shot that way.

I managed to get the grid to go away but tab doesn't work for me, to get rid of the build mode thing, because it doesn't even react once the price is up, and if I do it before the icon to click for price isn't there. So no idea how people do that!

Build Mode -- Landscaping -- Ground Cover. The grid disappears. Unfortunately the GUI stays! I haven't found a way to hide the GUI but show the price. Maybe you can crop it. I don't think the Price picture has to be as big as the others. An alternative is to take the price picture in Neighbourhood View. (I think in Base Game that's the only way to do it.) Don't forget we're supposed to spoiler all but the first picture.

But all in all it's an excellent entry. Congratulations on making it on time!

AndrewGloria was right. No tab. It seems you can move the picture a little, but you won't have the tab functions. Geesh. You'd think after 100 retakes or so, I would know this by heart! And no ... you can't get rid of the GUI if you do this, as far as I know. And yes .. some people just crop the picture. I might do this next time. Not now.

The person wants to get back on, so I need to leave. Time to go to another device to watch the contest.

Good thing I checked one last time ... my main picture wasn't showing up! it looked fine yesterday. I had to try to prod it again just a few minutes or so ago.

It's showing up now. Maybe I'll go for a second fermented beverage, then check one more time and make sure all the pictures are still there.

@simsfreq The requirements do have to be usable but certainly mock ones as extras is a great idea. I did wonder if the gym was a mock up. I had not guessed the tower was for climbing, I thought it was some kind of deco statement of modern art but interesting, the whole place is very creative.

@Essa that's fine feel free to edit pictures until the round closes.

I have not heard from *_Drew~ since his application for round one. If he doesn't show up by round closing I will assume he has dropped out. I won't close the round until the clock runs out just in case.
