It crashed when I tried to enter my first family, the Ottomas. Also In my Sim Bin, all the families are still there, but some of them are pink with their arms stretched out in the pics.

Yes, pink soup and crashes are to be expected in heavy lots or hoods, that's why I included a file with some pink soup fixes, including the newest one. Did you try it? The Bin families were duplicated because the game does this when you load a new hood for the first time, you can either delete them from the Bin or watch my video on how to stop the game from doing this:

I have the same problem with pink soup and crashing of the game when entering any lot in Binwood. I noticed the lot imposters in the Neighborhoodview are very detailed.

Was the neighborhood created with the RPC costom laucher? If all the lots of the neighborhood have been saved with the RPC beeing set to use highly detailed lot imposters what would definetly explain why the neigborhood is so prone to pink soup. Reason beeing that too much of the texture memory becomes allocatet to the lot imposters.

Since I presume your Setup can handle the Neighborhood as detailed as it is now, could you upload a version of the Neighborhood there all the lots are saved with the Lot Imposters set to "classic" maxis level of detail in your RPC settings. That should make the Neighborhood much more playable for anyone.

Omg first of all thank you so much for this information. I had no idea this might be the cause. I thought it was the number of Sims created by me (since I've made over 300 Sims - most of them are dead ofc). Downloading the newest pink soup fix solve all problems for me tho, but I will try what you said and if it works I'll update the hood. One thing that might also help you now is turning off neighbors / deco view! Thank you so much, I'll let you know if the hood gets updated!

Hiii! I updated the hood. Now the lots are using the classic lot imposters which I hope helps with the lag / pink soup! Thank you so so much for this feedback!

I like Angela Ester's and Catherine's lots. So I think this whole neighborhood is great in advance.

I love this idea I was wondering if you were thinking of making a subhood version, so it can easily be added to for example clean maxis hoods?

Default Feedback
While playing Tara Kat, I realized she didn't have a job in the education career. Is she meant to be a teacher's aid (level 2)?

Default Missing Neighborhood Story
I clicked on the Neighborhood Story button today to if anything was included in the album and found it blank. There are story images, like the Roomies with the baby thought bubble, under the "Edit Neighborhood Story" button, but the Neighborhood Story itself has no images or text. Was a Neighborhood Story meant to be included with this hood?

I saw that happening with other hoods too and I don't know why. It's a bug. The hood has pictures and a "neighborhood story screen" introducing each family. I don't know why this happens sometimes, but it's nothing with the hood itself! (mine for example shows all the pics) Try reinstalling the hood, maybe the pics will be back!

Thank you for clarifying this. Unfortunately, the album didn't populate, but I'd like to recreate it myself. Would you be willing to share the family descriptions?

I'm having issues with the Roomies lot. Calling the pet adoption service never yields a kitten or puppy, and the pet disappears from the registry. When I order an adult pet, it seems to work, but when I try to buy a kitten or puppy, no car ever comes.

Hii thank you so much for the feedback! I tested this in my modless game and yes plus I also noticed you can't adopt a baby the Social Worker disappears when you try! I'm guessing this is most likely related to the lack of townies and strays? Babies are generated by a random couple of townies, puppies and kittens by a couple of strays I believe. I know for a fact when the game starts Binwood doesn't feature any strays, but it has 5-6 townies, so I don't know why this isn't working! I will have to study this and then fix it. Thank you so much!

No, thank you! This neighborhood has been so much fun to play with, and your activity in the Sims 2 modding community on Youtube with your mod lists and tutorials have 100% probably saved me from a lot of risky/hijacked downloads from outdated videos from years long past, lmao. Thank you for absolutely killin it

Hii thank you for all the work put into this, I love it!! I've downloaded it and get the neighborhood to load up, but there are no lots. I did do this from the description: " Just put the Lots folder from Part 2 into the 'N781' folder inside Part 1, then move the N781 folder to 'Neighborhoods' under Documents > EA Games > The Sims 2 > Neighborhoods.". Any idea what could be causing them not to show up?

Your N781 folder should be looking this:

Characters
Lots
Storytelling
Thumbnails
N781_Neighborhood.bkp
N781_Neighborhood
N781_Neighborhood
N781_Neighborhood.reia

Is this how the folder looks for you? If so, then I wouldn't know what's causing this. It could be a mod I guess if you're using some, but I never heard of a mod bug like this so I'm not really sure... Check if the Lots folder is complete too: it has 81 files.

Oh and ofc maybe you moved the N781 folder from Part 2 instead of the Lots folder only! You should only move the Lots folder into the N781 folder from Part 1. Please let me know how this goes! <3
