Default Seam on shoe ankles
Anyone have an idea as to how to fix this gaping problem? It isn't pretty much noticeable in most cases, but it irks me a bit. No matter how I try to use the vertex/normal merge tools in Milkshape (using a stock EA mesh as a reference), or the Tangent tools in Cmar's toolkit, the gap still shows up whenever I export it as a TSRW .wso mesh and import it to the Workshop:

Did you match the seam vertices for the morphs, too? Does the line/gap change with the fat/fit/thin sliders?

I did, but it's still the same. And no, the gap still remains subtle even if I turn the fat up.

Like Cmar mentioned, the morphs are incorrect.
If you load a bottom with morphs the basegroup is done correctly but the morphs have a gap.

You gotta fix the seam of the morphs(and also their normals)

Yeah, figures. There doesn't seem to be a normal editor besides the data merge plugin for Milkshape, though. Can you guys walk me through with making a proper morph for WSOs and/or GEOMs?

The seam is not properly matched on the base either, IMO.

Import a cuBottom mesh along with the shoe mesh. Move the bottom mesh above the shoe mesh in the Group listing. Hide the morphs so you have only the two bases. Go around the ankle seam, selecting each pair of vertices and doing a data merge. Hide the base, unhide the fat meshes, and repeat. Hopefully that will fix it.

There are many ways to line up the seam properly.
We used manual edit in the past, and extended edit.

A bit more tricky but very fast is to just weld the reference and custom mesh together.
If the reference mesh is listed first vertice from the custom mesh will all jump to the reference mesh together.
You do need to resplit vertice on the side/vertical seam when done.(or use the model cleaner)

Thanks for the tip, dude, it works now! Just had to use the Clean tool on the model first before importing it to keep the UVW problem from kicking in.
