Could be a shaders issue (do you have any mods overriding the Maxis shaders?), or indicative of hardware problems. Check your graphics card drivers and temps. Did you have pink flashing in this session also? If so, try rebooting your computer (hard reboot, not the hibernate/ soft start thingy).

Twice I've had pixels get engaged and the women threw up "Turn X into a werewolf", X being their fiance.

What in the tarnation does that mean?

They're engaged to the men they supposedly love and they want to turn them into supernatural creatures?

Knowledge sims like being werewolves and just figure that everyone else would, too.

Anyone knows what mod stops apartment neighbors from hanging out outside their units? They used to do that, and now they are always inside. I must have installed a mod

There are multiple apartment mods that tell neighbors that they actually have the means to satisfy their needs inside their apartments and therefore don't have to rely on the common area objects.

But don't they have to first BE werewolves before they turn someone into one?

Neither of the women have ever met or been one, so where the thought came from I have no idea.

Yes, sims who aren't werewolves can't turn anyone into a werewolf, so obviously that's a requirement to roll the want. If you're seeing it in some other circumstance, that indicates that you've got a bad check trees mod.

Thanks! It turned out to be apthack. Weird, neighbors never ever come out except for work, even though they don't have bathrooms or kitchens in their apartments. That's a pity, apthack fixes some bugs, I would have liked to keep it

Apthack should automatically detect what you put in the apartments and behave accordingly. Are there bathrooms and kitchens in the common area?

I have a former bartender NPC that I married into a household. When I'm playing other households sometimes he'll just randomly walk into their houses and make him self at home watching tv or playing on their computers. Is this normal behaviour? It was entertaining the first few times, but now he's starting to barge into the houses of sims he's never met before.

Does he have 10 outgoing points? Normal.

He only has 7. Still normal? I don't have any other sims that are this comfortable walking into others' houses unless they're siblings.

No, I think that behavior requires a naked-hot-tubbing level, so that won't be it. Do these houses have bars? You'd think if that were attracting him he'd go stand behind one, though.

Yes, it's because he's still using the NPC template. I think that when he walks by, the coding automatically invites him and then pushes him to the NPC activity (none if there isn't a bar). I have a couple of retired butlers who will walk in and put something in the oven.

You need to change the original GUID of the sim to that of an ordinary playable to stop this from happening.

NPCs turned playable can exhibit such behavior, yes. I used to have a former mascot and a former DJ being able to come inside and do whatever they wanted without ever being greeted, if they were ever spawned as walkbys. Once I changed their character files' GUIDs, they stopped doing so.

Though I still made edits to their template BHAVs as a precaution, I never went beyond University NPCs.

I don't have it anymore. Some of those bugs may be fixed by other stuff.

Yes, I made sort of dorm like building, where their rooms have beds, dressers and some other things, but toilets, showers and kitchen are in the common area. Not all tenants have jobs, so it's not like they're filling their motives at work. If they are inside, they are probably disabled with frozen motives and don't need to come out.
HCDU doesn't show any conflicts, so if it's an indirect one, that'll be tedious to figure out, apthack is too big

Did it behave like that in your game, too?

Yeah, stuff like that and the date letters was why I removed both apthack and alfixes.

Amin Sims does that (he has 10 outgoing points) with all my sims he is friends with.

I posted this over at PBK but nobody ever goes there anymore, so I'll try here:

I've been stumped by the ever present problem for we medieval players of weddings-I can't hold a wedding without the Maxis formal clothes being the default clothing for everyone in the wedding, so I'm asking if anyone has ever solved this problem:

Can they be replaced by default clothing replacements? Is it possible to force everyone into medieval wear during the wedding to actually be wearing formal medieval outfits?

Because I can't take pictures of the weddings without wincing. It would be so good to have a festive happening without having to look at the totally out of place formal wear that everyone reverts to!

Any suggestions or solutions?

Thanks for any insight anyone can provide!

All I can tell you is that at my weddings, everyone is forced into the formalwear I chose for them, and always has. This is also true of everyone I see on my dash on tumblr. The sole exception is pregnant sims, because I don't have a "wear anything" mod.

I suppose then I'll have to do the same (pick out the formal wear) , but I wish I didn't have to. What a pain!

That's what I thought it might be, if it wasn't due to the "outgoing" issue. Will it work if I change the Sim type in the Sim Description section in SimPE? (Wow, lot of "Sim" in that sentence.)

More or less of a pain than defaulting every formal outfit?

I don't know how to do it, and besides there's a lot of them to default for that purpose. (I must have at least every single outfit ever produced for medieval pixels!)
