Default Sending someone home from vacation?
My daughter sent one of her families (Don and Kaylynn Lothario and their two kids) on vacation. For some reason Daniel Pleasant (who does not live with them) got brought along too. He is in the slot like a "pet" and can't do things like rent a room. He's wrecking the vacation because he's still in love with Kaylynn. Do you know why he got included in the vacation and is it possible to send just him home?

ETA: My daughter just fixed the problem by not saving the game. Her family is back at home with their relationships in tact - but now she's afraid to send anyone on vacation because she's worried it will get messed up again.

Sounds like he got tagged along as a guest. Don't know why that would happen if she hadn't invited him.

I no longer come over to MTS very often but if you would like to ask me a question then you can find me on tumblr or my own site tflc. TFLC has an archive of all my CC downloads.

You can invite other sims along as a guest and I believe they do get added in like a 'pet'. I've never actually invited other sims since they are not controllable. Perhaps she invited him by mistake, things like that are easy to do.

Thanks for the replies - she must have just accidentally added him in as a guest. I don't know how that happened, but hopefully we can avoid it in the future.

When you send a Sim on vacation, you have to add the family members as well, so it is actually quite an easy mistake to make. I once had a divorced couple, wanted to sent the man and new wife on holiday, and sent the ex-wife instead (you can imagine the drama I caused )
