I have downloaded some hood deco from Criquette, and am building a little jetty. I put "moored sailboats triple" in the (hood) ocean and they sit nicely above the surface (see pic on the left). But all the other sailboats (singles) sit under the water and I can't get them to sit above (see pic on the right). Is there something in the package file that I need to change to alter the position of where they sit? I have no idea where to look. Thanks.

Looking at your picture, I couldn't see the boat. And then I spotted it. Good Grief, it's sunk! I hope anyone who was on board at the time got off safely!

I wonder if it's anything to do with whatever water mod you're using. I've been using Criquette's boats and piers for ages without problems, but my sea is vanilla Maxis.

This is the only way to travel to island of New Desconia, so all new arrivals land at this tiny pier. New Desconians are good sailors.

It might not be the cc, but more to do with the elevation of the land and water. Can you tried making the water deeper?

So the problem was that the trio of boats was not enabled for placement on lots, and the single boat was so it followed the contour of the land. I will have to disable place on lot, and have them sit further out to sea, but at least on the surface.

I love that idea of having the boat represent the sims coming to the shore, AndrewGloria.
