Ways To Kill A Sim?
Hey, theres this sim that i keep running into that i really hate and I kinda want to kill him off lol. Are there any actual game intended ways to kill a sim (anything your sim can do to the other sim) or do you mainly have to trap them in a fire etc?

Anyone have any clever ideas to murder another sim? XD

thanks!

control, shift, + c. Then type testingcheatsenabled true, then shift-click on the sims you want to get rid of and click "delete it".

Well, sims can't kill other sims without a mod. But a broken stereo lying in a puddle or a room full of fire work very well.

The Object --> delete only resets the sim and sends them back to their home lot. It doesn't kill them.

Twallan's Master Controller has a "force kill" option, and ani's dexter the bear is a mod that allows your sim to murder other sims, but without mods, the only way would be to add them to your active family, then proceed to burn them/make them drown/make them starve.

building a wall around your pool whilst the sim you hate is swimming in the pool will cause the sim to suffer a premature demise ....

Well... I've done this a lot. Testingcheatsenabled on, right click on the hated sim, Trigger Age Transition until he dies of old age. VOILA!! I think if you delete him there's a chance he comes back and gets regenerated by the game. If he dies of old age, they don't come back.

If you delete the sim with moveobjects on, if you change your active household that sim will be back in its original household, at the same age and such that it was before it was deleted. I deleted one of a set of twin babies once, only to have it return (as a baby) when its twin was a young adult after I switched households!

Lol, I guess drowning them in a pool or trapping them near a fire gets the job done... But I found the mods to stab or shoot them with a gun hilariously entertaining and afterward I felt much better but decided I wasn't gonna even save. I feel i alleviated some anger enough to deal with em again later on lol. thanks for all the replies!

When I really want a sim to just GO AWAY, I use the "Total Annihilation" from NRaas' MasterController. Very satisfying, and there's no evidence!

I tried to blow up the chair a Sim was sitting on yesterday, but it didn't work.

there is a gun/sniper mod avaliable to kill sims with, it works the same as using the camera view, just take a screenshot and they die (from starvation) its a little lame but i needed to kill vladimir schlick because not only did he keep walking out of parties as soon as he stepped on the front lawn (this party sucks im outta here) but he was a love interest of my bit on the side so had to go. He had a bit of an attitude and as a vampire i tried to box him in the garden but he kept surviving the sun and had endless plasma fruits to keep him alive

Remind me never to get on your bad side!

To the OP, you could add the hated sim to your active family and then pull his hunger bar down .. (testingcheatsenabled of course)

I think the gun mod is fun. I had one girl who was finishing up her dad's death collection (he was a serial killer who died and she was finishing up his work). The most fun part was stalking near the victim's house for the perfect moment. Sure you could kill them anywhere in mid daylight, with the whole town watching, but trying to find that one moment when they were totally alone before pulling the trigger was fun.

Also, Twallan has an assassination skill that lets you kill Sims with different ways the higher you get with the skill.

from: http://sims.wikia.com/wiki/Death

-Fire (available from child stage) If a Sim is on fire for one hour (three hours with some traits and no death with one trait in particular,) then he/she will die. Fire can come from leaving something on the stove for too long, but the stove will never randomly ignite. Fire can also come as the byproduct when Sims with level 6 inventing skill detonating an object, or fail when trying to invent something with Scraptronicâ„¢ Workbench in The Sims 3: Ambitions.
-Drowning (available from child stage) Can happen if the sim is too tired and has the "Fatigued" moodlet. If the sim is unable to exit the pool, (walls around the pool, etc.) then they will drown.
-Electrocution (available from teen stage) Happens if a sim gets electrocuted and receives the "Singed" moodlet. A sim can get electrocuted if their Handiness skill is too low, or if they are standing in a puddle while repairing an object.
-Starvation (available from teen stage) They get too hungry, collapse, and die.
-Old Age (available at elder stage) The sim reaches the end of the elder stage and dies.
-Mummy's Curse: If a Sim loses a fight to a mummy, he/she is cursed, and receives a moodlet indicating this. In 14 days he/she will die by turning into dust. The curse can be cured with a visit to The Great Sphinx.
-Death by Traps: Sometimes a trap will kill you, the technical death type however will be either fire or electrocution, depending on the trap.
-Meteor: If a Sim stands outside for a while, there is an unlikely chance you will get a note saying that it has suddenly gotten dark. A meteor shower is a rare in-game event that can occur in home worlds such as Sunset Valley and Riverview and "vacation worlds" such as Al Simhara and Shang Simla. If you don't move your Sim the meteor will crush the sim, ending his/her life. This is more likely to happen while using a telescope. Sims near the impact may catch fire, and windows and furniture of your sim's house may be damaged from the impact if it struck their home lot.
-Thirst: (Vampires only) Replaces death by hunger for vampires.
-Pet death

my question is: why arent there any new deaths with Generations!?!? all EPs so far came with new deaths except this one! Im always looking forward to them! I guess GEN is like family oriented so its not all "DIE DIE DIEEEE!!!!!" lol. How do imaginary friends die?! lol..nvm off topic

as for you another idea is (if you have LN) to use the TCE cheat and maybe turn that sim into a vampire to kill them? hmm...

i love MTS :)

My new favourite is that mod that allows a "Deadly Charm" or "Deadly Attack" by a vampire to a normal sim..
