Default Missing Some Holiday Stuff Pack Items in UC
I've just downloaded UC from Origin and started playing the game.

I've noticed that some clothes and objects are missing, though. I couldn't find the icy windows and the Asian holiday dresses.
So is there a way to restore these objects?

I really loved the icy windows.

I'm not sure with the UC - maybe try repair? The holiday packs, as I said here again recently, are known to disappear and semi-uninstall themselves. With discs, you can try fixing it by installing the packs again. With UC, all bets are off.

I no longer come over to MTS very often but if you would like to ask me a question then you can find me on tumblr or my own site tflc. TFLC has an archive of all my CC downloads.

I don't know what's going on with the windows, but afaik, no one with UC has the holiday clothes. There's a fix here. Download that file and use it to re place the one you already have (just back up the original first). http://moonkistsims.tumblr.com/post...-happy-holidays

Okay! I did that what was descriped.
I removed the H05 and H06 bundle packages and re-installed the holiday stuff packs from my discs. After the installation was complete, it said that it will check the updates now but it also said that The Sims 2 is not installed on my computer. So it couldn't check for updates.
But as I see in Body Shop all the clothes and hairs (didn't check out the windows yet) are there.

By the way, does the UC need to be patched? Or is it already patched? I'm a little bit sceptical about the updates though...

It is patched, but there was a number of updates since it was released. The only Origin updates I have received for months now was for Sims 4, and Origin also updates its site, so updates are not necessarily for the UC.

UC for me is not optional - I broke my sims 2 base game disk years ago and could not find one to replace it with - and I never had TSS before. It also, at least on my pc, runs a lot better than the disk version.

Previously, I didn't see the windows, nor did I see the Asian holiday clothes.
Origin's Repar button didn't fix this.

Now I see the icy windows after I installed the Holiday Packs from the disks.

I think I might have the Asian dresses too, if you have a picture. Have you tried deleting some of the .cache files or thumbnails and see if things update for you?

I have both the icy windows and the Asian dresses in UC - I knew the windows were there, but just checked on the dresses.

It's just one small icy window that was missing. I believe the big ones were there. I can't remember that but when I added my Winter Wonderland subhood to my neighborhood, I saw missing windows.

Strange... I couldn't find it in the catalog.

But after I installed the two disks, the small icy window showed up just fine.

I did not know you could install a disk with UC - that is a surprise to me! (I know the Happy holidays one does not have a number - maybe that plays a role?)

It installed just fine but then after it said it will check for updates, a pop-up appeared that said 'The Sims 2 is not installed on this computer' and that's why it couldn't check for updates.
But I was able to install the two Holiday Stuff Packs from the disk.

If you look into the registry, the paths for TS2 are still the same. It's still EA Games\The Sims 2 and not Origin Games\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\Double Deluxe\Base
That's probably the reason why I could install the stuff packs.

Not in mine - it has Program Files/Origin Games (86)/ EA Games/Homecrafter and Origin Games (86)/The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection/list of expansion packs

I have the icy windows but no asian clothes.

And there's just one issue with the links above. I have no Happy Holiday disk.

The drop off has been made. You've been warned.

Does the Holiday disk have a number? SP something?

Justpetro, of course the game files are there where you linked to but I was referring to the registry entries.

I had the build/buy items and some of the clothes but not all of them (Santa and Mrs Claus suits and hats, and the Korean outfits but not the Thai, and no robes, children's outfits, or other hairs). I was able to fix it with the file in the link given by omglo, and didn't need the disks. On that site is a link to a drop box link which seems to be dead, but using the work around from plumbob keep I was able to get the skins.package file. I just backed up the package file that I had in in my game files (Origin Games\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\Double Deluxe\Base\TSData\Res\Catalog\Skins) and replaced it with the downloaded one.
