How do people use poses/animations in sims 4?
Um, could someone explain how the poses (and animations?) work in sims 4? I see lot of poses that one can download and use, but it's all so confusing to me. So far I understand that the system to use poses in game is not like in sims 3 where a poseplayer is used. I tried to search google about this subject, but lot of the information I get is out dated, because, possibly, the way poses are used today is different than months ago...? I don't know, buuut all I'm saying is that I'd be super glad for any helpful info because I want to make meself some sims 4 stories

Download The Sims 4's Pose Player from here:

http://sims4studio.com/thread/2617/andrews-studio

Everything you need to know is also explained there. You will of course need to have the pose files in addition to the Pose Player. If those pose files are correct, they will appear in the "Pose By Pack" option that appears after you install the Pose Player. Also note that more/less all multi-character poses require specific and precise positioning as they should tell you - you can use the teleport function in-game or http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=573162 for that. Good two sims or more poses should have simple instructions on where to place your sims in order for the pose to look the way as it should be, though.

There are no unique custom animations for The Sims 4 currently, at least not that I'm aware of (I browse through a lot of The Sims 4 custom content websites outside of Tumblr). Either no modder is willing to animate for The Sims 4 yet, or the tools are just not there yet for easy custom animation implementation.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I'm glad that this posing system has gotten better/simpler than it was in the beginning.
About animations though, I was thinking of the EA animations, not custom ones. It might be useful for story telling to use the game's own animations for some scenarios, you know But anyway, thanks again!
