Yesterday I got the sims 4 vampires, and I also decided to go ahead and get vintage glamor stuff so I could get a butler for my sims. However, when I click on the phone I don't have the option to hire a butler, and there is no text next to hire a repairman, just a wrench icon. Is there a mod causing this problem? The ones I have are mc command center and UI cheats. I removed a no school mod, and two of zerbu's (forgot their names) but I still can't hire a butler.

Mcommand has not been updated yet for Vamps and I doubt if the UI cheats have been either. I just took all my mods out until they are updated.

Would that cause me to be unable to hire a butler though? Everything else is working fine. The problem is with vintage glamour and that came out a little while ago.

Still no luck, I noticed the teleport mod broke so I took that out and I still don't have the option to hire a butler.

Are you making sure to delete your "localthumbcache.package" file each time you make a change? Best test is to remove all mods, start a fresh game, then try the same actions. If not, remove the non updated mods and try again, but make sure to delete that file before you go into your game. (Don't worry, it regenerates each time you load your game.)

MC has been updated to version 3.1.1 yesterday.

Still nothing, and I'm just confused at this point. Is there another way to hire a butler or must it be done by phone?

Edit: When I try to hire any service it just resets my sims.

Have you downloaded the new updated mc command center?
If you did and it still does not work for you when you try to hire service, then try without any mods at all.
If it works then, you know it is mod related, so go ahead and add them one by one until it stops working again. You'll end up finding what causes this.
