The Gables is one of my Neo Victorian lots in Belladonna Cove.

My Belladonna neighbourhood pretty much solely contains Victorian housing. This is because I like to keep it aesthetically consistent and also in line with the San Francisco inspired style. I've found that the majority of building objects in the Victorian style are quite dark and eyrie. I, however was keen to build something lighter, more modern and less gothic to contrast with the rest of my lots, resulting in this mansion.

It uses a white brick with yellow beams and red roofing. I think the roofing really makes this house and gives it the character, creating interest. I think the shape of the house really adds to the character as well, giving it detail from pretty much every angle. I initially struggled with the colouring, testing different brick and window styles, but found I was able to bring it together into a home I like and am proud of.

I currently have this lot placed at the top of the hill, at the wealthier end of Belladonna Cove. The lot is versatile in that it could easily be converted into apartments, or also a hotel or commercial lot.
