This is a VERY accurate Sims2 version of a real Calvin Klein Outlet store, and is my first upload. I have had the help of the store manager and have spent countless hours to make this as close as possible to the real thing, right down to their back room storage with mini-fridge and microwave, cement floors, and fixture placement. The lane on the left side of the building is true-to-life and is where they receive their deliveries. In my game, I have a delivery truck there, but feel free to do with the lane as you wish. There are also vending machines on the walkway to the left in real life, but I didn’t include any in this lot.

All the custom content (posters, a sign, paint, recolors of clothing racks) are mine and are the first recolors I have ever done, thanks to the terrific tutorials on this site. This was scanned by Clean Installer and is free of hacks.
OFB STUFF
This makes for a great OFB store because the layout is a proven one. (Yes, I know real world doesn’t always translate to Sims, but it has been very playable for me.) The uniform for CK employees is either khaki bottoms and white tops or all black. It is up to the manager to choose which, or how to alternate between them. Be sure to lock your back room and side entry doors, buy the open/closed sign, mark the clothes and perfume for sale and you’re good to go. Calvin Klein outlets also sell home items like linens, shoes, watches, eye wear, and accessories like belts and bags. There are plenty of shelves and counters on which to display your items, plus the shelves in the back room. In real life, the counters would have stacks of folded clothes on the shelves below and a representation of each style/color on the top for customers to see. I downloaded some stacks of towels and used those to make mine more realistic (the towels are NOT part of this lot).
CK Technical Stuff
This is based on the current floor-set for a 6000 square foot store. I did the best I could with Sims fixtures to replicate store fixtures and still make it useable. Many of the clothing racks are really double-sided, but that proved impractical in Sims. The theatre in the store this is modeled after is as shown, but I know other stores have their theatre in other areas. I put posters there instead of face-outs or mannequins because I *could* make the posters and *couldn’t* make the others. Also, there are no mannequins along the top of the hanging fixtures for the same reason. I am using the ads that most closely matched the ones in the store, and I know they aren’t “exactly” the right ones. And of course, Calvin Klein is a trademark of Phillips Van Heusen Corporation and the poster ads are copyrighted by them.
**Found a problem: there is an unsupported wall a couple stories above the roof... don't know how it got there, but is seen from neighborhood... you have to build supporting walls underneath it to then remove it... Sorry. I hope to upload the revision soon.
***UPDATED: Wall problem is now fixed. The new version has a different name and will not replace the old version.***
Note: Henrik has some awesome CK stores for download that are the top-end (black label) stores, and those are what I have used until I built this outlet. This outlet is not nearly so fancy, but it is completely based on the real CK outlets.
I hope you enjoy it! ~cokenasmile

- You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.
