Full Length Wall Mirror with Check Self Out option for all ages

by Dr Pixel - posted July 19, 2007

No expansion pack(s) required -

NOTE: If you have Pets, this mirror will still work correctly, except you will not get the option to Change Pet's Appearance. You will have to use another mirror in your Sim's house to do this.

This mirror has all the standard mirror interactions.

In addition, all ages, child through elder, will get the "Check Self Out" option that is usually available for teens only.

I also removed the back side of the mirror, so you can see your Sims through it from the backside too.

Included in this package is the Mesh plus several color options.

The Package file was modified from a Maxis wall mirror using Wes Howe's UniMesh plugins and Echo's tutorials

The child's "check-self" animation was created in MilkShape and exported into the game using Wes Howe's Animation Exporter plug-in

The rest of the animations are standard in-game animations.

NOTE TO MODDERS:
It is OK to extract the new child's animation from the .package and use it in your own projects.

If anyone wants the .ms3d file of the animation, to modify or examine, please PM me.

Second color option provided by Numenor's CEP files.

Polys = 898 (slightly less than the original Maxis mirror)

The mirror itself, including the mesh, is in the file:
"DPXL-wallMirror071807_MESH.package"

=======================================

All my items including this one may be recolored/re-skinned.
You can use and alter my alphas and bumpmaps as you wish - no credit needed.

Please put some effort into it, there are many good tutorials here that will show you how to make something you can be proud of.

If you are posting your work here, link to this thread so people can get the mesh.

If you are posting on the Exchange, you should also link to the thread since meshes do not always package up properly in Lots.

If you are posting them on your own site you can offer my mesh for download on your site too. Credit for the mesh is appreciated but not required.

If you are altering the mesh for any reason, please take the trouble to do it correctly - change the filename, use fix integrety, get an new GUID and re-link it to your own color .packages.

You can use all my items in your lots, screenshots, stories, movies, and complete Sims - no credits necessary, just have fun with them.

===============================

To make this perfectly clear, what I am saying is that you can do whatever you want with my items, and post them anywhere you like. That includes free sites, the Exchange, paysites, and donator-only areas.

I just ask that you take the trouble to do it correctly so your stuff doesn't interfere with anyone else's.
