Recently I completely cleaned out my game and made build mode CC free (great for game performance) which luckily means that once again, I have started producing lots that can be easily shared. So here is the first of a good many!
The concept
I wanted to build a sort of fairytale castle, but i wanted it playable (I have a tendency to get carried away and make huge lots that arn't practical). I couldn't decide whether I wanted a cute, sweet fairytale house, or a darker version as a sort of update on my vampire mansion. So I did both. Same architecture, different themes.
The first lot is already available, http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=245540, this is the 2nd one.
This is the fluffy, cheerful one! I was originally going to do this in dreamy blues and lilacs, but I already had a blue and white lot nearby, so I went for the green and cream look. This house has a more sociable layout than the sister lot, with a large pool and BBQ area, it also has an orchard and greenhouse, because nice sims love to garden!
If you also have the other lot, you will notice that there are also similarities other than the architecture, for instance I have used different shades of the same wallpapers in corresponding rooms.
This house also has a nursery, which the other doesn't.
The specs:
2x3 lot
220k
Playably furnished (everything you need to get going but with room to make it your own)
3 bedrooms (large master, double and single - plus a dedicated nursery)
3 bathrooms.
Large landscaped garden with pool and orchard
Garage.
The blurb I have to say to make it clear:
I have ALL EXPANSIONS (up to seasons) on my game. If you do not, and you try to place this lot in your game, YOUR GAME WILL CRASH!! This is not my fault! EP lots are not backwards compatible, so sorry, but there's nothing I can do.
Because I am a geek, I also have all the stuff packs, I am informed however that this will not affect the lot, except that any stuff pack decor/items in the lot will not appear for you. I try to leave SP stuff out as much as I can, but it's not easily identifiable, so if you are missing a SP you may find yourself having to change a floor, or wallpaper that have gone awol.
The future:
I am about to photo for upload, a town centre, a christmas themed lot a themed nightclub, a starter cottage and a Celebrations Stuff lot.
