Bachelor Apartments - CC-Free

Well...ok, so they're not exactly all bachelor apartments - there are some family ones in here too! =P

Bachelor Apartments is the 4th instalment of my industrial-look lots, designed for the downtown area of Belladona Cove. Containing 5 residential units, along with an indoor communal lounge area and an outdoor relaxation area, Bachelor Apartments is the perfect place for your lower-budget sims, whether they are just striking out on their own, looking to raise a family, or willing to take on a roommate. Built with Numenor's AnyGameStarter, the block requires Apartment Life and IKEA Stuff ONLY and is 100% CC-Free, yay!

Built inside an old factory, the 5 apartments all retain the original ductwork and ventilation facilities used in the manufacture process. Despite these now being purely decorative features, the detailing gives the units a quirky look, different to many of the apartments currently avaliable on the market. All of the residential units have their own individual entrances, reached directly from the outside of the building - no awkward conversations with neighbours in corridors here!

The ground floor houses two good-sized studio apartments, both suitable for either your single sims or a couple. Also on the ground floor is the indoor community area, through which sims can access the back patio and other apartments. On the first floor, the two family apartments can be found - both have 2 bedrooms, a good-sized bathroom, and well-sized living areas. Though they may seem small, they can comfortably house a family of four with ease. Finally, on the second floor is the cheapest of the five units, a small two-bedroom apartment suitable for a single sim wanting seperate office space, or a sim looking for the challenges of a roommate. This unit could be extended sideways onto the ajacent balcony whilst the block is zoned as a residential building, or an entire new block could be added to create a 6-unit building.

The units are all fully-furnished, mostly with IKEA furniture to keep costs down. Priced at between 671-1017 simoleons, all of the units are affordable for even the poorest of sims, making the block the perfect starting place for your university graduates =P

The zip below includes both the fully-furnished apartment block, ready to be used straight away, and the residential version of the block (priced at 106,649), in case you wish to change the layout of the units or furnishings.

To rent the apartments fully-furnished, use ctrl+shift+c to bring up the cheat box, then type in boolprop TestingCheatsEnabled true and shift-click on the door of the apartment you wish to rent. Once your sim has rented the apartment, bring up the cheat box again, and input boolprop TestingCheatsEnabled false - rember, this goes for all apartments, not just this one!

Finally - pictured, but not included is HystericalParoxysm's rather fantastic bedding default replacements, found HERE

Everyone who has helped me out with this in #create, but to Canoodle especially for all her encouragement when this lot's development seemed to go on forever!
