Royalty is a different type of lifestyle that one can only imagine to experience. With grand rooms & furniture that one can never be in or sit on...now your Sims can experience it too. Okay, so maybe it's different in the game because they can fly off to work as superheroes, lol. Your Sims can live life in old-fashion luxury with this grand palace created by the Neighborhood Consolidation Incorporated! Introducing...Catherine's Palace!
This palace comes with several rooms for your Sims to explore (& hide in, if they wish). The palace features:
(1) A two-storey ballroom for parties, music, dancing, & social drinking;
(2) A courtyard for your Sims to play ball, hang out, dig & garden;
(3) Fourteen bathrooms, spread throughout the palace's three floors;
(4) Finally, no more wall pieces to use in dividing those rooms. Be creative in their divisions.
The floor plans provide suggested uses for each room to fill up your palace. The office rooms can be left empty for storage, if you wish. For example, you may like to have a DJ play music during the ball, & would store the DJ Booth in one of those offices when not in use.
You may also like to have larger storage rooms for the dining tables to place in the ballroom when inviting party guests. Who knows? Grilling lunch or dinner? Place the BBQ at the middle back porch. Let your mind guide you to furnishing the palace; Or look for stuff on the Internet for inspiration, lol.
The palace comes unfurnished, with light fixtures in the hallway and ballroom. This way, your game can load & lag less. This palace was created for as many as 8 Sims. The rooftops are inaccessible, except if your Sim is a warlock/witch/ninja. Most of the wall tiles were used in making the rooftop. Due to the lack of any wall tiles leftover, there was no consideration for secret passageways.
Enjoy the palace!
P.S. This palace was not based off Catherine's Palace in Russia. It sounded familiar to me (Catherine the Great), but was given the name in honor of a cousin of mine, whom I introduced to The Sims by giving her my original of the game & its expansion packs.
