For a few days, my game hadn't been working. I won't get too much into it, but I will just say it took me a long time to fix... Before it stopped working, I had started making this house, and I was so glad when I could continue making it! It's slightly different from many moderns I often make, notably the small, third floor. It's a bit out of the way since it's placed on two friezes, but the main reason I made it is for its look. I made it as a collector's room, thinking that it would be a good area for a room your sims wouldn't need to go in that much. It could also be a good room for a supernatural or ITF room (alchemy stuff or making plumbots and the future portal).

I like the fence look in between the two friezes too. I think that looks really different.

I think that many beginner builders or non-builders may not realize that even proficient builders have things to learn... I've decided that on larger lots, I like the looks and use of space by not making it take up as much room in the back of the lot, rather going farther horizontally. It adds to the look more with the build horizontally, and it's easier to figure out the layout of the home with it being larger horizontally. So that's another thing that I like about this lot.

I also had a lot of fun with the pool. I've not really played too much with the pool curves, partially because it takes longer, and it takes up more space that when the pool is straight edged. But since the backyard was so large, I figured it would be a good time to mess with it.

Since this house doesn't have a foundation, I wanted to make an interesting area for the hot tub. I didn't think it was looking right with other, over the ground type enclosures (like I've done on past builds), so I got this idea to place it within a basement. I quite like the look. I also placed a firepit, and I placed chairs there (they are see through since I moved the pit, and will appear when your sims sit).
