Normal Polish Names For Townies!

Update 1: The file no longer needs to operate under the name "Live.package" because I changed the TXTR resource group, allowing the mod to work independently of the name. You can change the file name however you like.

This mod replaces the original random name generator in the Polish version of The Sims 2.

The original generator includes some names that I find cringe-worthy, such as "Omatko", "Parzygęba", and "Sikawka". Additionally, it generates many diminutive forms of names, making the Sims appear more childish and less serious. Therefore, I created a new generator that provides more realistic names for Sims. From now on, Sims can have names like "Malwina Knop" or "Konrad Jasiak" instead of ridiculous ones like "Bronka Misiurka" and "Edek Japa".

The new generator includes:

• 500 last names,
• 100 male first names,
• 150 female first names,

so it means that we can get:

• 75,000 combinations for ladies
• and 50,000 combinations for gentlemen!

I removed silly last names, diminutive forms, and some really old-fashioned names. The new generator contains basic names, such as "Anna" and "Piotr", as well as more unique ones like "Jaśmina" and "Mieszko". The last names are based on "Most Popular Last Names" lists, including both popular and less common ones.

Notes

• To install, just place the file into your "Downloads" folder.
• Please note, that you can't have more than one "random name generator replacement" mod at once.
• This mod affects every language version of The Sims 2, so if you have it in a non-Polish game, your random townies will have Polish names.
• I haven't detected any other problems or conflicts. Let me know if you find any.
