Before the broken template kicks in (so while he's still a teen), open up the Blender's Sim Surgery option and change one of his features by one click. Then run the DNA fixer on him. I was confused about the process too until someone else explained it to me.

I've just done it, hopefully I did it properly. Followed instructions (yours and RoxEllen's). I edited his lips to be a little familiar to his original. Is there anyone else that has a broken face that hasn't been fixed?

Edit: How rude of me, thank you so much for helping me!

If you'd like to test it, you can use the Blender to age him up to adult and then quit without saving. I'm not aware of any others that Tarlia missed, but someone else might know of one.

What determines if a burglar or the police officer win the fight when the burglar comes to a house? When Gordon King tried to rob the Una's house the police officer won the fight and Gordon was arrested. When I loaded the Aspir house, a burglar showed up shortly after everyone went to bed. Again it was Gordon King and this time he won the fight and escaped. What determined that he lost the fight at the Una house and won at the Aspir house?

According to one of Pescado's posts over on MATY, the burglar fight works differently and "and completely independently of Body." I would guess it's just a dice roll.

Is Pescado's information based on the Fight Club mod (The post was in the thread about the Fight Club mod), or vanilla fights? I don't have any mods that influence fights so my question is about vanilla code factors.

He says in the thread that he didn't modify the burglar scenario in the Fight Club.

Here is a question for you: What is a 50/50? I know it has something to do with getting rid of bad CC, but I don't really know what it is. Can anyone help?

It's for finding the one piece of CC that's causing problems: here where it is called the 50% method.

It's a method for tracking down a piece of CC that's causing problems if you're not sure what it is. There's a pretty good flowchart describing the process on the wiki:

Unfortunately, it's quite a pain in the ass to do. I absolutely hate the process, so I have my own few extra steps to take in an attempt to avoid it.

1. Run the HCDU, which detects any hacks that change the same resources. Check for anything that seems related to the problem.
2. Check newly-installed hacks.
3. Check for hacks that change whatever you're having an issue with (example: if the fridge is causing a jump-bug, check for anything that affects how meals are served).
4. Check for any outdated hacks (example: Squinge's Vampire Aging hack, which was made for NL, had a side-effect of halting pet aging).

Most of the time, one of these four steps tracks down the issue. If it doesn't, then I decide if the issue is a bigger pain than doing the 50/50. If it is, I do one.

A flow chart somehow makes it look more complicated than it is -to me at least.

Basically, test half your CC -if it doesn't crash/do the bad thing it was doing, yah it's good, save it someplace!
If it crashes then you half it and test each side doing the same as above.
Eventually, you will get down to that one bad file (unless it's more than one or the action of two files together)

The simple answer is that the Burglar has 25 % chance to win the fight (BCON 0x1003 Tuning - Cop/Burglar Group: 0x7F61174E Social - Fight - Attack Cop).
The police/burglar-interaction is complex - a lot of choices in BHAV 0x101A Interaction - Cop - Handle Burglar (Group: 0x7F233438 Car - Police Car ) determines the outcome of the fight.

SimSample, was it YOU who originated the 50/50 ? Holy crap! Good one there. It'll take me years to figure it out, but still.

Bulbizarre: my mind is blown! That chart is exactly the sort of chart I'd make, if only I knew what I was doing.

See? This is exactly why I always rely on MTS for everything: Nowhere else in the Sim World can I get such good advice.

For example, I have a set of 17 clothing recolors that are 1.99 MB, but when merged it's 64.6 MB, (which really doesn't make sense to me) before and after compressing.

One of the best features of the TheCompressorizer is that (unlike SimPe) it will not attempt to compress a file that has two of the same resources. If the type, group and instance values of two or more recourses match then it will not compress. If they did compress it would permanently corrupt the file. I'm sure that if you go through the file you'll find one or more repeats.

That makes sense. The size seemed consistent with an uncompressed file, but I wasn't sure what would cause that to happen.

Alexandra Teatherton took Julien Cooke to Twikkii Island with her (he doesn't live with her yet) but I can only do certain things with him like help his needs which is fine. However, I'm trying to get them to sleep in the same bed (they're in love etc, max 100 on both) but he can only relax.. He can't interact with anything else in the hotel except the TV and bathroom in their suite and the hot springs & local chef. Is this normal?

Edit: Alexandra can interact with everything. He can't even order room service..

The vacation guest implementation is rather fucky and limited and I've had the same issues with it. My suggestion is to use Dolphin's Control-This-Sim on him.

Does it work with Simblender, Sim Manipulator, InSIM and other Mods like that or will/do they conflict?

I have all three of those mods and the only oddity I've seen is that the Manipulator's "Make Selectable" may appear on the pie menu for a Sim that's already controllable through Dolphin's hack.

The major advantage of Dolphin's hack has is that it properly returns the flags to NPCs and OFB employees, so that you don't lose the special pie menus (for example, "tip" or "manage employee") or have them start acting like regular visitors.
